Just watched the rightfully and what I think i saw was a guy using the fight to get rounds in.

He was throwing putter patter punches but to me he never seemed to truly set his feet and people are forgetting that Fury was never a puncher in the first place.

Is he ready for Wilder next? It doesn't look like it but he's nowhere near as bad as people are making him out to be.

 

he fought a guy who is beyond shot, with a glass jaw. threw zero straight or hard punches.

 

The only people hyping up this fight are Wilder nut huggers as they see it as a good way to get more leverage for their man against AJ.

Plus they will be able to crow like they beat a prime Fury not one coming off a 2 year lay off losing masses of weight, mental health issues etc...

If he's of blown Pianeta away people would be saying he needs rounds, he went the distance people say he's shot.

What he needed was the rounds and he needs Peter in his corner asap.

 

could have stopped him late. it was hilarious people on here saying he would stop Pianeta in two. he has only stopped four bums early in his career that early. he depends upon laying on guys to wear them down, to stop anyone above f level.

 

True, a late stoppage would have been great but honestly off that performance he isn't ready for Wilder next but he got rounds in and it was a much better performance than his comeback.

He beats Bellew, Whyte, Parker tomorrow imo but I'd take 1 more fight before Wilder.
