I said he had no chance of beating Klitchko too, i simply could not believe my eyes when it happened. But he did it with his twitching, Wlad was a bit of scared fighter, those early career KO,s had him fighting a very safety 1st kind of style and that twitching from Fury made Wlad be heistent, stop and reset and before you know it 11 rounds had gone and Wlad hadnt done a damn thing.

He was twitching against Pianeta last night but even though Pianeta is **** compared to Wlad he isnt safety 1st and the twitching did very little to stop him coming forward and i cant see it stopping any other heavyweight in their tracks too.

 

The prevailing evidence available to us would better support the title of this thread if you removed the word 'Wilder'

All of the above is my guess. I think he knew he was aging and that was making him even more cautious. Then Fury comes and doesn't follow the usual script of giving respect to the champion, something I think was important to Wlad. So many years, so many defences and all of a sudden this one wasn't following the usual script, either in the buildup or in the fight itself. Maybe enough to put Wlad outside his comfort zone.

I think Tyson Fury could get inside Wilders head. But ultimately all that matters in this fight is whether Wilder can detonate that right hand on his head over the course of 36 minutes. If he cant then he drops the UD loss.

Wilder has many flaws, but he won't make the mistakes that Wlad did. He's not so shot shy, his athleticism is on another level and when he does get through, fury will be in a lot of trouble. He doesn't have the conditioning which would allow him to take that sort of punishment. Until we see otherwise it's likely that any top hw would beat current Tyson Fury.

 

I barely remember the Hammer fight nor the Wlad fight. They were both atrocious snoozefests I try to forget.

 

Fury looked beast last night and I'm left with no doubt that he will dance circles around Wilder. After watching that excellent display of defense, there's no question in my mind, Fury is back to his best and will be able to elude that big right with ease. What on earth must Wilder be smoking to pick this new version of Fury: this Fury who has so dazzled us with his last two performances that even Wilder's own die hard fans are now praising him.
