Yep, also not to mention that Wlad at that stage in his career was very slow to get off the mark. His handspeed was not bad but he seemed to overthink his every move and that made him quite slow mentally.

So when you have a guy constantly moving and shifting, Wlad simply got confused.

It made Fury look like some prime Muhammad Ali but the fact is that Wlad was very much past his prime and it was simply a stylistically bad fight for him.

Its true. Whytes a hungry mofo that has massive balls and is primed and willing..Fury is finished...Wlad Fury may have out boxed Wilder, but that Fury was also on something too imo. Current Fury even if he comes in better again v Wilder is ****ed either way. Joshua v Fury would be horrible to watch, good thing for Fury is it wont be prolonged, Joshua would feel his lack of current power and walk him down

Yep I didn't think he look that bad either, he was messing around and playing with Pianeta at times. He's never been the prettiest fighter to watch and always looked unimpressive when against over matched opposition, anyone remember the Cunningham fight? Then look what he did vs Wlad.

When Fury is in with an opponent he respects he's far more focused and fights far more conservatively and doesn't take as many chances, fighting to his strengths. Maybe he's shot or maybe he's just again fighting to the level of his opponent.

I'm not a fan and must admit horribly underrated him, I've learned not to underestimate him now. He may very well shock people again vs Wilder. He's the under dog but that's when he's usually at his best. Right him off at your own peril.

Fury looked good and he will bring his A-game against Wilder, the claims that he looked terrible are just excuses
for the most likely outcome which is a Wilder knockout win within 6 rounds.

Here is my very consistent take on the boxing skills of Tyson Fury
I’m certainly not downgrading my rating of Fury to suit some supposed anti Wilder agenda!

Wilder will not get any credit for beating Fury, who’s actual boxing ability, power and ring craft in no way justifies his current standing in the Heavyweight rankins

You're a genius for predicting that a non punching boxer would carry a bum in order to get rounds in after a long lay off.

Ali came back after a similar length layoff and fought and defeated Jerry Quarry and Oscar Bonavena. Does anyone here actually believe Fury would be standing after fighting these guys? Ali then fought Joe Frazier! I'll admit that Ali didn't have the drug issues that Fury had/has but that's all on Fury.

All Fury has left is good footwork and head movement. He still has a suspect chin. Wilder, who has practically no boxing skills, will KO Fury with the first right hand he lands. The only possible way Fury wins is a grab and hold snoozefest in a hometown decision.

    The trip went well:

    -Mobbed by about 24 people
    -Food fight at nandos
-Fury parades his belt around the ring

I never liked Fury's game. I've thought he was an overrated fluke who beat one guy who happened to lose to a few other flukes during his reign. Having said that, I will give Wilder full credit when he KO's him because at the end of the day, Fury was the lineal champ. The Man that beat The Man.

I'm torn...how can I be a superfan of the Superb One if he's literally the willing sidekick/lackey of a fighter I expressly dislike? :dunno

Reminds me of Transformers, actually - hated Megatron, loved Starscream.
