This does my head in. Not every post is part of some dastardly plot to undermine Deontay Wilder. Sometimes when people say 'I thought he looked rubbish' that's just their opinion!

Nah Fury doesn't have that in his locker anymore now all he does is repeat the same old sound bites again and again

 

I fear Wilder lacks the IQ to be able to even comprehend Fury's mind games. Therefore they will have little effect.

 

That was my idea too, glad I read the thread before posting.

I know he's not heavyweight but he has the awkward rangy unpredictable aspect.

Fury should box him and when wilder tires counter him of the ropes

 

he beat a 37 year old man, or was he 38 i forget. thats fairly good but not elite.

Lol that would be disaster for Fury if he did the rope a dope with Wilder, Wilder won't tire like Big George Foreman

 

This fight will sell far better than naysayers claim.
1. The casual fan will be drawn in to both trash-talkers who do that well-- which has long been a prerequisite for selling a fight thanks to Ali.

2. The scene of 2 giant dudes, one who looks like a skinny tattooed telephone pole, the other a shaved down version of Mr. Snuffleupagus, what a sight.

 

Piece of advice: forget grand schemes and conspiracies, no fighter ever chooses to look bad just to make a point.

Step into the professional ring, and you risk getting sparked out, and that's why GGG wasn't "carrying Jacobs to lure Canelo in" nor was Fury "intentionally looked bad" to "sucker Wilder in", don't be silly. Tyson wanted rounds sure, but Pianeta finished the fight not cause whatever Fury wanted to do, but what he actually could at this stage of his comeback.

The Wilder fight is a little early for him, but if he keeps getting in phsyical form and busy in sparring, he'll improve in camp tremendously. Without, you know, intentionally looking bad in a live fight.

 

Fury doesn`t know anything about glove control, AJ and Wilder always use their lead when fighting long fighters to control the other guys lead, look how Wilder always extend his lead, Ali was all over Foreman`s lead because George used to bully using glove control also.

 

Going 10 rounds with a guy who got KOed by Kingpin Johnson...yeah, that will make those turnstiles click.
