Agreed. You have Wilder who ducked AJ and you have Fury who they keep saying is the linear champion who is best because he has never been beating in the ring however apart from Klitchko (Fury) and Ortiz (Wilder) then who else have they fought. AJ has beaten Whyte Parker and now fighting Povetkin who what anyone else says are all within top 5 heavyweights at the moment.

 

Ideally, the Fury vs Wilder fight happens. Then the winner of that fights Joshua (if he beats Povetkin) then we will know who the king is. Undisputed, literally.

 

Needs to happen. Be very disappointed if Eddie doesn’t pull it off.

 

That would be the ideal scenario however if Wilder is refusing to sign a contract and Frank wanting an unrealistic 50/50 split then I cannot see this happening.

 

Old fish eyes is desperate for a huge fight and this is about the only one he has available to him.

However in the long run he will regret aligning himself with the travelling community.

He may well be worthy of a #1 ranking but that's different to being "the real king". The throne is empty at the moment. He's in the running but he's not the king yet.

 

They aren't even trying to hide it, last night wilder came in the ring and they had a few words then they were loving each other a minute later.

 

What's the problem? Do you need beef between two fighters to make a fight appealing to you?
