lol at boxing_master. The reason you worship at the Fury shrine is that the Klitschko fight is the only fight that you picked against the general consensus and got it right

I went through the Fury Vs Wladimir RBR, yes I have no life and as nothing better to do.. I wanted to see what some of the posters on here actually thought of Fury before and after.

The pre fight predictions were interesting, the fight was absolutely slaughtered during and after, Fury was not given any credit, Wladimir was completely slaughtered and most said he was shot to pieces.

So I think that "fight" has now taken on a mythical status with some of the very same people, like it was some sort of masterclass, like it was one of the greatest performances of all times, it was absolutely slaughtered on here.

Fury hasn't done anything of note since, spent over 2 years inactive, abused himself with alcohol, drugs and food, suffered depression and yet has improved his status, improved his reputation, and is now a modern day great.

The short term memory loss, the blatant bias and adegnda driven drivel and the hypocrisy on these boards is outstanding.

The Wlad of 2008-2013 would have knocked the bipolar out of Fury within 6. It was a good showing by Fury against a past it Klitschko. That’s it.

And Tyson milked that win for all it was worth for three years while ****ing up the rematch.

That’s Joshua. IMO that Fury of 2015 is better than Joshua. And Wlad was WAY more aggressive in the Joshua fight. In better shape too.

I must have watched a different fight then as i honestly found it to be one of the most awful fights I've ever watched. The lack of punches landed by BOTH fighters was embarrassing. If someone had let me in for free to watch it I would have left early and went for a few beers in the nearest boozer.

These are some of the comments made by Mr IB and Mr CST on the Fury Vs Wladimir RBR,

The reason I selected a few of their quotes is because they normally do the rbrs and do a great job, they are both very funny and I genuinely respect their opinions.. and if these two speak I will listen.

When I read through the RBR there were lots of other comments about how poor that fight was but these are actually very funny, I honestly laughed out loud at these ones..

    Started laughing here..

I choked on a cup of tea when o read this one..

This one absolutely ruined me.. LOL

Now, that's how Furys performance and the fight was seen at the time by most of the posters on the live RBR.

Now all of sudden, after some time, people memories fading of just how poor it was and now Wilders fighting Fury it's one of the greatest performances of all times, but in reality it wasn't, it was a really poor fight, poor performances from both of them, it was just awful all around.

I think so, don't misunderstand me, Fury fans have always backed him, I like that kind of loyalty but look at the thread title..

Come on mate, it really wasn't the "great ever display of boxing". I'm not having that.
