The gods honest truth is neither of them is amazing and neither of them is ****.

I just get annoyed with Wilder because of that 7 year period of just bum after bum after bum. Also that 90% of his fanbase only jumped on in the last 6 months.

Joshuas resume for somebody with 20 fights is fantastic. Wilders for an ubeaten world champion with 40 fights is abysmal. Wilders resume hangs with Joshuas because of the Ortiz fight alone, without it theres no comparison. That 1 win against a good name is a leveller. Im not a big fan of resume comparing anyway, people read way too much in to them and at times ignore other aspects and just end up playing top trumps with the 2 lists.

We were waiting for Wilder to face somebody good just so we know where he really stands in the division, that WBC belt counts for jack **** if all your doing is fighting guys that are a level below the best.

We dont need resumes to figure out how a Joshua vs Wilder fight would roughly play out, we pretty much roughly know what both fighters are going to try and do if or when they meet and we can gain nothing extra from thier resumes. Anthony Joshua is a superior Boxer and can knock Wilder out, Wilder carries superior power and speed and can knock Joshua out. Its THE best fight that can be made in the division and its a 50-50 fight as far as im concerned.

Give you an A for effort but a little too much praise for the Ortiz win and criticism for the Parker win, IMO. For me they'd be swapped around, Parker a plus or minus shade better, although you have them correctly sorted into the B range, with all the rest of Wilder's and Joshua's wins falling well short of them.

Aside from that nitpick, fair & balanced indeed.

Edit: aside from, obviously, the very controversial Wlad win, which I'm surprised to see you ended up pegging as A+. That version of Wlad for me probably isn't a favorite over Ortiz or Parker, but hey... All subjective since we're aren't likely to see him in with any of today's heavies anymore. :sisi1

I'm FrankinDallas, and I approve of this message. Well done.

But frankly (no pun intended), in most any other era they would be part of the real champs Bum of the Month club. And I shudder to say this but Fury has better boxing skills like footwork and head movement; however he hits like a featherweight so either J or W will KO him I believe.

The dirty little secret of the potential Wilder AJ is that Wilder is a stylistic nightmare for a slow plodding AJ who is available to be hit.

I don’t blame AJ team for not getting the fight against Wilder until the money is so good they cannot say no.

    Wlad >>> Ortiz >>> Parker > Stiverne > Whyte > Takam.

That's how I rank their major wins given the status when they beat them. Obviously since then Whyte has gone on to become better than Parker but when Joshua fought him, Whyte was still a domestic level fighter.

Well, I've always rated Ortiz a little higher than you, and while Ortiz's resume wasn't quite as impressive as Parker's, the method's of his victories over similar caliber fighters was a little more impressive IMO. I viewed Jennings as quite a bit better than Takam and a tad bit above Hughie Fury level, I've never rated Ruiz Jr. all that highly. While Ortiz's wins over Scott, Thompson and Allen weren't dazzling by any means, never once was there any doubt as to who was in charge in those matches, he dominated them with ease, whereas Parker every time he stepped up had looked in serious difficulty and close to losing 3 matches, and looked quite terrible against Cojanu, and when comparing Ortiz's destruction of him its clear to me that Ortiz is every bit on his level, if not a slight cut above.

So how has Wilder accepted a Fury fight with no date and venue confirmed, yet rejected the contract to fight Joshua because there was no date and venue confirmed? Explain.

Wlad was 41 for the AJ fight wasn't he? Not 40.

I was coming off of three rounds by rounds, had been up for hours, was literally dead tired, I was nodding off while writing it, you could almost say I was impaired while making this thread, so when I'm in that state, I'm bound to make a mistake or two, especially considering I did it from memory, but what's scary is, a badly impaired version of me is still far more logical than 95% of this site.
