I'm not saying that Dimitrenko is on the level of Parker, of course, just that he will be an adequate litmus test to see if Jennings is the same fighter he was. Styles make fights, and I can see Jennings running circles around Parker and Parker not having sufficient power or size to do anything about it. Especially with his confidence gone after two consecutive losses. People forget Jennings was widely regarded as a top 5 hw when Ortiz stopped him. The division has gotten deeper since then but I'll be surprised if Jennings doesn't at least firmly reestablish himself as a top ten hw in the next year or so.
Oh yeah, fair comments I guess - and yeah I have my concerns about Joe after the Whyte fight. I was encouraged by how he seemed coming out of the AJ fight but I think he really needs to take a step back after this. Jennings is no mug for sure, to be honest I probably would have rated him as a favourite over Whyte if I knew they were going to be fighting before the Parker fight - and don't take back my prediction that Parker should have been able to beat Whyte, I think he had the tools and between a more fair ref and Parker showing a bit more grit I think that was all Joes to win OR lose. I think Joe has the tools to win fights that he loses because he forgets how to use the bloody things, so a fight with Jennings is not a thing I would like to see in a hurry... I liked the Whyte fight more than the Jennings fight and am a bit disillusioned by the outcome.
1. Wilder 2. Joshua 3. Ortiz 4. Povetkin 5. Bellew 6. Whyte 7. Parker 8. Miller 9. Chisora 10. Breazeale
1 Fury............he was first and never was beaten 2 Wilder.........he was second and never was beaten 3 Joshua........he was third and never was beaten It is what it is
I have Wilder above Whyte....Who Joshua doesn't have a win over, so that logic is flawed. Whyte is third for the simple point I made earlier, he has the best resume outside of Joshua. And although Povetkin's is strong, his last 2-3 opponents have been a lesser quality than Whyte's. Parker's best win is Takam..... Ortiz's best win is Jennings (Whilst on gear)..... Both Takam and Jennings are pretty much gatekeepers to World level, as neither are good enough boxers, like Tyson Fury, or have enough power, like Joshua/Wilder, to make it to the top. Ortiz does not have a win over an opponent at the level of Parker.....Whyte does. Therefore Whyte's Resume > Ortiz's 'Bogeyman' Myth.

Anyone who manages to get themselves kayoed by Solomon Haumono is automatically ineligible to be considered a top 25 heavy, let alone top 10.

While it was a thorough win, Pianata is WAY past his best and landed quite a lot all things considered. If Pianata can land shots then I am a bit concerned about the Wilder fight being way too early. Fury could move and dance and win rounds on points against Wilder but from this recent performance he will be smashed out of contention at some point in that fight in a worse way than other people who are not in most people's top ten
Bubba I know how to put a name into youtube. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it, but I've seen these. I keep asking about the guy because he's ranked now, he's had 20 fights in boxing, was already a star in k-1, and between Youtube and WBVA I might have half of his boxing career. There are a few other ranked HWs whose careers are difficult to fill out but Fujimoto's kind of popular in Japan to be so obscure. I was hoping there was a Japanese source, like a stream service or some such, I could get in America.
