That would be likely over 15.

Graziano would KO LaMotta in the mid rounds courtesy of his right hand power.

Angelo Dundee when asked about this fight said Jake would go to the body and jump on Graz and KO him in 1.

Lamotta has an iron chin and graziano was scared of Lamotta.

I don’t see it happening this way at all.

Graziano was scared. He was scared he might kill LaMotta. After all they were friends from the neighborhood.
He had Helluva right hand and LaMotta was easy to hit. Jake wasn't a huge puncher so I don't see him knocking out Rocky unless it was late. Graziano was limited but one thing you don't want is his right hitting you clean. I think too many clean ones would take LaMotta down. He almost got Robinson.

From what I've seen, and were talking both primes , Jake wears him down and stops him in 10.

    This puts it to bed.

“Graziano and LaMotta were signed to fight in 1950. Graziano didnt believe LaMotta was serious about the fight and when told that LaMotta was in great shape and training hard Graziano walked over and punched a tree breaking his hand to get out of the fight. True story.”- Steve Compton

Apocryphal story surely unless this Steve Compton guy witnessed it?

I mean if Graziano is indulging in self-harm to avoid LaMotta then I'm surprised he didn't slash his wrists to avoid a real killer like Robinson. I'm doubtful.

In saying that LaMotta beats Graziano imo. Naturally bigger, stronger, tougher and probably more talented.

Solid chin >>>>> solid punch.....at least most of the time. Lamotta wins a decision or maybe a late round stoppage.

Maybe Bowe should've conveniently broke his hand. It would have looked better than just throwing the belt in the trash can.

Yea its called bull****. If that actually happened the tree would have went down and who knows what else? Graziano would knock his brains loose.

Did Graziano say this? Who was the witness to Graziano hitting a tree? Also aren't there easier ways to get out of a fight, like not signing for it in the first place or just claiming any sort of injury w/o actually breaking your hand?

Ask Klompton. But he always has reliable sources. I trust him 100 percent. His Greb book was incredible

But this puts to bed the issue of whether or not graziano ducked Lamotta. He did

Of course graziano was on record saying Lamotta was his policeman
