Good point. Josh has never had to contend with a crisp hard sharp counterpuncher like Carl. Hismain asset, his high workrate , might get slowed right down after a few rounds getting clipped by Carl's hurtful shots.

hes looked progressively worse going back to before the quigg fight, warrington showed in the Selby fight hes slightly more than a dumb swarmer and I think his style is Frampton's kryptonite

He did get caught a few times. They were on about this on the 5live boxing podcast and Bunce reckoned that he didn’t respect his power, hence him shipping a few shots.

Agreed no matter what fight Warrington tries to drag Frampton into the evidence is there that Frampton will be able to adapt, if Warrington comes forward and purses him Frampton will catch like the Martinez fight 2013 and if draws him into a toe to toe scrap Frampton has overcome a far better fighter Santa Cruz in 2016 he has all the tools needed to win whatever kind of fight Warrington has in his locker.

Yes, unless frampton suddenly deteriorates and/or Josh soars to New never before seen levels, Carl wins.

Carl fought an uncharacteristically aggressive fight by his normal cautious counterpunching standards. Of course he got hit... It's a fight after all. But people suggesting he was hurt, even momentarily are dreaming. Bunce prob was just looking for something to talk about.....

Frampton by stoppage. Warrington only best Selby because he was dead in the extreme at Featherweight. I think Frampton has been superb in his last two fights. Some people are nit picking with him. Warrington’s engine and volume is freakish and would be a nightmare for anyone not 100% right in desire or physically. However, I believe Frampton will be and he wins by late stoppage.

As someone said earlier in the thread i would have put my house on Frampton a few years back in this but what a fighter Warrington is. Extremely underrated, heart, determination and seems to be peaking at the right time. I’d say Frampton is the favourite but (and I learned my lesson in the Selby fight!) do not write Josh Warrington off! If he comes through this he will surely be British boxer of the year?

    There's a saying in boxing.
"You don't know how good an unbeaten fighter really is"
Well we know how good Carl is, with Josh we have yet to find out.

You are crazy if you think Josh is going to get stopped. Josh is the froch of the fw. No way on mother earth will Josh be stopped, you obviously know nothing about him

Frampton is technically the better of the two but he struggles with a fast pace for 12 rounds. Josh absolutely does not and I think that is what swings it in my mind. I perhaps overrated Selby when picking him to beat Warrington but he'd shown he's improved massively since seeing him struggle with Martinez. Don't think he stops Frampton but I think he takes a close decision

Something about Frampton in his last couple of so fights just looks a bit vulnerable, can't put my finger on it . I don't think he is the fighter he once was far from it and he takes to many shots these days.

I think it's going to be a very close fight could go either way.

Current odds: Frampton 2/5 Warrington 5/2 . The value with Warrington for me.

I have to agree. since his defeat to lsc there's something missing, it's hard to put your finger on it as none of his performances have been bad but he just doesn't seem the same force.

This will be a great fight. Cannot see past Frampton -- Warrington is tough so I see it going the distance.
