I think the new BombSquad member doesn't get enough attention.

The Juggernaut vs The supposed new Bogeyman in the HW Division, who would be victorious ?

I got Joyce right now by KO in the 8th round in a brutal caveman slugfest.

I like Joyce and given his age he needs to step up quickly but I wouldn't put him in with Whyte just yet. He's too open and Whyte is capable of taking him out.

At the moment Whyte by KO.

Barring an unfound disastrous glass jaw (AKA Price), The juggernaut makes both Whyte and Wilder his proverbial pet poodles. Theyll be joining the Chihuahua squad if either of them ever grow a pair and dare to dance with Joyce.

Seeing as Whyte has decided to become an 18 stone mauler/puncher, I think Joyce is all wrong for him. All the tricks he used to wear down Parker would be nullified against Joe. He gets stopped late in an ugly, messy brawl...

We agree on a lot of things Okin129, I'm also a supporter or the Juggernaut, I was backing him when he was just hitting hes debut and getting written off.

He's very athletic, deceptively durable and strong puncher. But he aint got the ring IQ or experience to go toe to toe with Whyte at this stage.

Whyte has taken his licks, and he's been through wars. Whyte by KO but not sure at what point in the fight.

I'm not sure we will see another person as durable as Parker anytime soon. Juggernaut is durable but untested like parker. If Whyte can drop parker when no other man could, then he should drop Juggernaut easy. I've seen Juggernaut get caught plenty of times, he's quite open actually.

Whyte is also very open and Joyce brutalized all of his opponents, he obliterated Lenroy Thomas, a fighter on a similar level to David Allen who went the full distance with Whyte and he beat Ian Lewison in better fashion than Whyte.

You can't allow yourself to stand in front of him and Whyte would be a willing trade partner, i think Joyce has more power with an equal chin and would win after a competitive slugfest.

I think their styles would favor Joyce a bit but at this point Whyte would beat a better variety of opponents.

Parker's durability is up in the air for me, to some extent. He didn't really engage with AJ at all. He got dropped by Whyte off a good shot, though he wasn't totally wrecked by it. Has he been in with anyone else who can hit at all? Takam isn't a big puncher. Ruiz Jr sure as Hell isn't.

Not to say he isn't durable but there isn't much evidence there for me

I put my hands up and admit Joyce beat lewison in better fashion than Whyte did. I blame Whyte's ridiculous punch technique at the time though lol he slapped his punches since forever...

But remember when Whyte said he matured, when he had parker rocked and could have gone for the kill but he told his wild dawg inside him to calm down and pick your shots. So he would still box clever somewhat.

Joyce came from an amateur pedigree, pro game is quite different and Joyce has done well thus far I agree, but Whyte has really earned his stripes with Chisora @ 120 per cent, Parker and a fired up AJ.

I would like to see this fight next actually and I don't see why he would turn it down, I mean sure no rankings, but Joyce is same dimesions as AJ, durable and some power on him... good tune up for whyte to take off the table?

Lol come on man be realistic, they are still human beings you can only train your head and neck so much to take a shot. If you're hit flush by someone over 200 pounds it's going to put you down. And parker took a cleeeeeeaan money shot on the chin by a 258 pound gorilla in Dillian Whyte and survived.

Would you be impressed if we shot Parker (Just a hypothetical analogy I am not liable) in the head and he survived that? Would he meet your standards lol?

I always think about this fight because imo it is one of the best fights to be made at the heavyweight division, a
guaranteed slugfest, i hope it happens as soon as it gets, Joyce would do it immediately, i don't think he would
turn any fight down, i don't know about Matchroom though.

There's little reason for Whyte to take it. Either on risk/reward or ranking. He's looking for big fights and / or title shots. Joe doesn't have much profile yet and no ranking. Fight won't happen.

You said we won't see a fighter as durable as Parker any time soon, which is to say he's the most durable now, of recent rimes and likely to be the most durable in the coming future. My point is that this is quite a baseless statement to make going by what he's done with his career so far. As I said, I'm not saying he isn't durable whatsoever, but I think your statement is a bit of a reach.

Whyte won't get a title shot until April 2019 and Joyce is well known in the UK, it would do numbers, they could
throw Joyce in between but i agree with you that this fight probably won't happen because Joyce is too much of
a risk and Whyte wouldn't want to risk his title shot.
