End of 3rd round .....Howard Cosell notes "Terrell's left eye is "quite bloodshot" ", and confirmed by "color man" George Chuvalo. Up to that point Terrell was the aggressor and was in the fight. All viewers of the tape need to make their own interpretation of what Cosell's comment means.

Not sure what round it was in but Ali also raked Terrell's eye on the rope. https://i.imgur.com/sSVZvO6.mp4

lol at terrel was the "aggressor" up to the third round. If you count swinging at empty air, being the aggressor, sure.

Thats an absoutely desperate attempt to denigrate an ali who made super size top level fighter terrell look like an oaf.

At no time in that clip does Terrell's Eyes, or even face, touch the ropes.

Ali was clearly in control after 3 rds and a blodshot eye doesn't lose you a fight. Too bad we can't have these discussions without agendas.

Terrell's eyes, or face even, don't touch the ropes in Escudo's clip and no one has ever to my knowledge pointed to any instant in the film where Ali thumbs Terrell. Still you imply that Ali won the fight with dirty tactics... Everyone need to make their own interpretation of that.

terrell turned his face to the rope...if you watch without an agenda, he does the same thing earlier too when hes not near the rope. He turns his face away from the clinch as part of his intent...or are you claiming that ali was twsiting his head round for that bit too when the rope was nowhere near?

I've rewatched it multiple times. Terrell is turning his face away from the clinch and it looks like Ali leans his shoulder on it to push his face an eye into the ropes just as the ref steps in to break them. You can see the rope recoil as it gets caught on Terrell's eyebrow. Add in the fact that Terrell touches his right eye as the exchange ends.

I'll admit it's not the best camera angle to see it, if anybody can find an alternate view I'd love to see it. Either way Terrell went from this http://pictures.historicimages.net/pictures/_5/4342/4341887.jpg to this https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/02/05/23/3CE0515100000578-0-image-m-39_1486336625483.jpg

you are again ignoring that terrel is turning his face deliberately away each time. its just coincidence that hes near the rope one time.

He does turn away from the clinch. As I said he did. His face ends us on the ropes, specifically his eye, which Ali leans into.

If you believe I have some sort of agenda against Ali I refer you to the other articles I've written on him https://imgur.com/gallery/CbmnElX https://imgur.com/gallery/JkLfn . He was the greatest heavyweight ever and probably my favorite human being ever filmed. He didn't need to be dirty to beat Terrell, he chose to be because of this

Trying to figure out what "Agenda" I have today.....more than going to get some breakfast, mowing the lawn, and telling fellow Texan /Dallas native Laurence Cole "For once you did a decent job refereeing the other nite on that TV fight ".
