Top wins go hand in hand with the losses he sustained aswell.....why are you ignoring these?

h2h means absolute best ability. You are referring to consistency if you want to consider a string of fights.

you have a novel concept in comparing losses as best ability wins. good luck with that, esp as GGG doesnt have an actual loss to compare with.

Exactly and that is one avenue of why he is the better fighter.

Also let's note that Dibella and Martinez avoided GGG.

    not in one h2h bout.

but it can be a measure of resume ranking sure, which i've already made clear, and others so why you want to call it a point of discussion is beyond me when its accepted basis here. You can go start an argument with yourself about it if you want though, be my guest. Everyone else is way past that.

Both great champions, I'd agree with the resume of Martinez being stronger but GGG usually looks more dominant when he fights, but let's be fair - this head to hear would be an incredible fight! Was Maravilla ever in a dull fight?

I don't think that's crazy. I hope we get to see Jacobs vs Canelo some time as I think they're pretty evenly matched. So is Jacobs a better win than Pavlik and Canelo(for the sake of current discussion) a better win than Williams?

Don’t work like that, dominance and longevity can replace that, also the eye test...Mans a machine !

ellite win, and trust me, he will get it soon.

3g dont need no fake "eye test" claim.

if you want my personal opinion, i am way more supportive of a fake eye test for 3G, i actually believe he will add at least 3 elite scalps before he retires, putting him way past sergio and abe.

    namely

canelo, intradivisional clash rematch to prove he is elite without a doubt

BJS or Dev, who may have become elite by then, to complete unification as far as is credible these days

move to SMW for Groves, Smith or Chunky, a final intradivisional clash to prove his HoF status beyond contest in beating the titleholders of three divisions.

You had Canelo beating GGG by multiple rounds in the first fight :cheer:

For that reason alone, i’m not even sure you can count.

Come back to me when you care for your family as much as you care for that Mexican man.

You could make that argument although of course if Canelo and Jacobs turn to garbage it devalues them a bit.

GGG has to be rated above him due to his length of reign but i like Maravilla more, he will always be one of my
    favorite fighters.

I am starting to feel like GGG has been a little overrated. But, he would kick the crap out of Sergio Martinez.

On paper Martinez all day as his resume was stacked IMO
Inside the ring with each other GGG would have the edge with power but would have to catch him to land.

Martinez was very good. GGG is great. And yes I feel Martinez avoided GGG as champion
