Without that extra 40 seconds recovery time I think ortis would have finished the job. Kinda sad to see the old timer robbed. Could a been him vs Fury for all the marbles, now all ortis has to look forward to is losing his marbles in the rest home.
I like Ortiz as much as the next guy, but he wasn't anywhere close to stopping Wilder. Even when he hurt Wilder he didn't have the gas tank to apply to pressure needed to finish Wilder just like Wlad didn't have the gas tank to finish Joshua when he had him hurt. If Ortiz would've found some way to neutralize Wilder's right hand early and avoided those knockdowns he most likely would've pulled it off, but unfortunately for Ortiz he's a sucker for a well-timed straight right.
I hope they do, it's time for a new handle. In fact I'm signing myself our and switching IP address It's time to go undercover and destroy these wilder fanboys from the inside.
Funny how he says he's gonna change his IP address and then come back and do exactly the same thing. No need to call Sherlock in on this one....
The ref didn't help but it was down to Ortiz's lack of stamina that he couldn't finish Windmill off - stamina which is at a level you'd expect for a 60 year old.
