Yeah froch v kessler 2 seems off considering that was the fight that basically started Sky box again. Not convinced sky would of thought there was a future if the number was that low.

I’m sure it did 250k which at the time was considered a success.

You're right about Naz, all his fights from 1996 onwards were PPV apart from I think it was Cabrera that was regular Sky Sports.

Would love to know how many Hamed v Kevin Kelly did.

Nas retired with £30 mil in the bank so it's safe to assume he was absolutely killing it on ppv

Those numbers for Brook an Khan are a real eye opener considering they both swan about like they are kings of the castle.

its also not a fair reflection, i think people have more disposable income nowadays and also the mediums available to watch PPV are far more accessible than they used to be. There are also more platforms available nowadays before in the UK it was sky only for PPV.

On the flipside there is also a far more diverse amount of sport being shown on tv in comparison to 10/15 years ago.

Its almost impossible to compare and contrast viewing figures now to those in the past.

Some of them are way off. No way did Froch v Groves 1 or Froch v Kessler 2 do that few PPV buys. Not a chance.

    Useful information thanks geezer

We can all see why now that Hearn will not allow AJ to travel to the USA for all the tea in China.
