Let's assume AJ beats Povetkin and that Wilder vs Fury takes place in November. If you're AJ which fighter are you hoping wins?

Who do you think would give AJ most trouble in the ring?

Which opponent would generate the most revenue?

Wilder because its an easier fight for him and Joshua sleeps him early with little drama.

Fury this time next year could be back to his best and hell on wheels, and make AJ look bad win or lose while Wilder will never be anything more than a big dosser who fears Dillian The Villian

Having said that Fury is less likely to duck AJ than Wilder

I think AJ would hope Wilder wins. On a boxing level I think he's a more straightforward challenge. Negate the right hand and outbox him behind the jab.

Both fights would be huge and fury would generate more in Uk, but the Wilder fight has a higher potential ceiling. Plus AJ can still fight Fury even if he loses to Wilder, whereas the value for the Wilder fight would be significantly diminished if he loses.

It doesn't matter, since Joshua's team won't let him fight Wilder or Fury for at least another two years.

fury. less dangerous. a loss to him would probably consist of looking bad chasing him around the ring. a loss to wilder means getting up close and personal with the canvas.

I don't think anybody would rather fight Wilder than Fury, both unorthodox and a handful with the difference that Wilder can put you on a stretcher within seconds whereas the worst what Fury can do to you is outboxing you for 12 rounds.

Well considering the last year has been all about money, money, money and errr money then..

Financially it has to be Fury, it would be an all British unification fight for the undisputed heavyweight title. It can't get much bigger than that here in the UK.

I believe it would be a little piece of history too, Two British Heavyweight world champions fighting.

So yeah, if I was AJ I want Fury to win.

AJ and Wilder fear each other

But they should fear Fury...because he is coming to school these bums.

I don't think that AJ will care who wins. I think he would see a fully fit Fury as more dangerous to his perfect record. But I don't buy this whole AJ is scared of fighting people narrative. I don't think AJ, Fury or Wilder are scared about fighting anyone. Because I think all three genuinely believe that they are the best.

Simple answer, Aj wants a wilder win. Why?? If fury wins it's already stated wilder has a rematch clause.

That would make the most sense. A Fury win with a rematch clause leaves Joshua in the wilderness for 18 months, possibly longer with injuries.
