Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Usyk vs. Anthony Lewis Bellew

I think Bellew is at his optimum fighting weight at cruiserweight and he has has some solid performances at the weight.

However Usyk is special and he's levels above anyone Bellew has faced before, it'll be a total domination from the start with Bellew keeping him honest early only to be stopped in 8.

 

That's one way of putting it.

Usyk is hungry.

 

Another Stevensonesque beating on Bellew would be nothing short of glorious indeed.

 

Is this official? Bumsyk actually stepping up?

I hope he does anyway because I enjoy seeing the absolute meltdown from the casuals when Bellew wins another fight he's 'got no chance in'

This. People keep underestimating Bellew. Bellew is easily better than anyone on Usyk's pro resume. He's a better puncher than Gassiev and a better boxer than Hunter or Briedis. Also, a prime Adonis Stevenson has faster hands than Usyk and pretty much the same reach as Usyk. The big challenge for Bellew will be overcoming Usyk's mobility. If Bellew manages to neutralize Usyk's footwork and paces himself he can definitely get the knockout on Usyk.

 

Not saying bellew has no chance , but you overrating him big time

 

Bellew will have his moments. Dude is underrated. I am not sure how many round or if he will win them, but the first 4 will be highly competitive. Then Usyk will take over more and more as the rounds go by.
Usyk TKO 11 or UD.

I've honestly picked wrongly against Bellew about 6 times so im hesitant to do it again.

But you have to imagine Usyk is just too skilled.

That being said there's something about Bellew which his opponents always end up fighting his fight, and Bellew is NOT A bum, he is world class even though he's sloppy and doesnt look impressive. He's messy, awkward, underrated power, underrated durability, underrated stamina etc etc.

Bellew worse performances were at 175 and he was clearly drained at that weight, he looked like a damn zombie before he moved up.

I'm going to say Usyk on a UD with Bellew doing surprisingly well and pinching a few rounds here and there.
