As far as I understand, he (Gary Stark Sr.) has been working with Derevyanchenko for a long time. Andre Rozier was more like a strategist.
Ahh well that's good to know, excellent fight one I'm looking forward to more than Golovkin v Canelo.
TBH I'm a fan of his style and what he brings to a fight. High energy, great boxing brain and good power, my only knock on him is at this level he's not really fought the calibre of opponents that Jacobs has, Tureno being his best opponent to date. The Derevyanchenko v Johnson fight is a fight imo which shows what Derevyanchenko can do, it's a very dominant victory but one in which you see Derevyanchenko in all his glory if you get time pal.
I like both these guys and it will be a great, great fight. Also, Danny Jacobs is one gigantic mother****er of a middleweight.
Sergei is a very solid fighter. He's got good power in both hands, he's busy and he's accurate. He also does that Ukraine thing of changing angles mid-attack and splattering the opponent as he resets. I'm favouring Jacobs on pedigree but they are pretty close and I wouldn't bet on the outcome.
