Finkel asked Mathchroom rival Frank Warren to help them get $50,000,000 together for the offer they made to Joshua.

    Utterly embarassing.

Makes Haymon look a complete fraud.

    Completely explains 2 key points.

1 - Why Finkel didn't want to meet or send proof of funds.

2 - Why Frank Warren has so much info on a fight he has nothing to do with.

At least we can finally put this all to bed.

We've only had 2 serious offers for this fight......
    Both from Matchroom......
    Both rejected by Team Wilder.

Just when I was beginning to warm to the guy, he gets exposed as a fraud.

    No it isn't......

It was coming from BT Sport.....

Joshua has an exclusive contract with Sky.....

Finkel/Warren have been exposed because Frank got big mouthed towards Joshua/Hearn.

So just to be clear, are you arguing Joshua's contractual obligations were the real roadblock to this deal?

No - The fact that the $50,000,000 offer had impossible clauses was the 'roadblock'.

Joshua would've lost out on his Sky PPV money.

Which means that $50,000,000 was less than he would've been losing.

Joshua's contract with Sky is for 3 more years.

    2 fights per year = 6 fights

    6 fights at minimum of 15,000,000 = 90,000,000

90,000,000 (Plus the fee he'd have to pay to break the contract) > 50,000,000

Oh cool, coz it just read like you were saying because of AJ's contract he couldn't make the fight, which kinda comes across like you were placing the blame there. Mind you, you're right, it is a factor. Well spotted....

Holy ****, STFU. Hearn and his dad confirmed the offer was real. In a recent interview with Boxing Voice Hearn even quipped that it was a good thing THEY TURNED DOWN THE 50 MIL (direct quote) because of Wilder beats Fury they could make more money.

Joshua has a contract with Sky... So what. Billy Joe has a contract with Frank and BT/Boxnation but is boxing on DAZN and Sky next. That’s not going to be a dealbreaker for a fight of this magnitude. Contracts can be varied all the time.

    **** off.

The bold is actually pure disrespect. You are questioning a man who manages a massive portfolio of elite fighters across the globe. A man who is publicly THANKED by almost everyone of his fighters after a fight, even before they thank their trainers and loved ones.

Mayweather should slap the **** out of you for disrespecting such a successful OG of the sport. You are genuine scum.

So Showtime and HBO work together all the time?

Sky and BT are current rivals in the UK, equivalent to those two US broadcasters.......

It isn't a 'Dealbreaker' for the fight, unless you make it one.

    Finkel/Haymon/Wilder couldn't afford the $50,000,000 without Warren.
And he demanded the fight be on BT sport which isn't possible.

The same man who couldn't outbid Team Povetkin?

The same 'OG' who is asking Frank Warren for financial support?

'Genuine Scum' for pointing out legitimate facts.....Why are you so rattled now Haymon has been proven to be a bit of a fraud around this fight?

HBO and Showrime worked together only once in recent memory, maybe ever, and that was for ****ing Mayweather-Pacquiao. It's kinda not something that happens every day. They both bought the rights to broadcast Wlad-AJ separately, that doesn't count.
