All this confirms is that AJ turned down a 50Mil offer.

So turning down a fight from which you would make a financial loss is the wrong decision?

50Mil doesn't sound like a loss to me. It sounds like 50Mil

When Joshua gave the $50,000,000 from the Wilder fight to Sky......

    What is he left with?

Joshua, at best, breaks even from a $50,000,000 fight on BT Sport.

Couldn't care less if this 50 mill was legit or not, either way Hearn thought it was a sincere offer and they still didn't want it as they wanted the fight in the UK. That's no worse in my opinion than Wilder agreeing terms on everything but venue and date and then changing his mind and asking for 50/50.

And even if the deal at clauses that were impossible to meet like the exclusive deal with Sky why hasn't Hearn said so?

Personally I'm fed up of all this constant BS from fans on both sides trying to score points against the other side by trying to belittle the other fighter and his fans and trying to suggest one is ducking the other.

Fact is it looks like neither side really want it enough for it to happen anytime soon. So pretending one side is slightly more to blame than the other seem like a pointless exercise in one-upmanship that has now lost any worth to me. My stance from now is both sides are to blame.

Why is Joshua paying Sky 50Mil?

    @CST80

For someone who actually understands the whole Showtime/HBO rivalry.....

Could you attempt to make it easier for others to understand why this 'Turning down $50,000,000' isn't as easy as it seems.

If Showtime had a fighter, who's contract ran for 3 years, and they'd generate over $200,000,000 from him......

Why would they release him from that contract, and allow him to generate that income for HBO?

Sky, who currently dominate UK PPV thanks to Joshua, are not going to allow him to fight for their direct competitors......As they would then become the number 1 in the UK boxing market.

Why would they let him go to a rival for nothing?

They would demand more than $50,000,000 in all honesty.

I mean, this is so incredibly baseless.

Additionally, why hasn't Hearn said that the reason for saying no is that it'd be on BT? Who even said it would be on BT at all?

Anthony Joshua generates more money than all other UK boxers.....

Whoever controls him, dominates the UK PPV market.

Bradley Skeete has been allowed to fight on both, because neither actually wants him.

    Are you for real?

Do you have no clue what a contract is?
