No, Canelo will not rectify in your eyes and many like you. The cry this time will be that Canelo is a cheat. LOL!

CompuBox will always be a joke because its human beings counting the punches without any measure if they're quality or not.
CompuBox counters can be just as dishonest and corrupt as a judge can be.

What it came down to in the fight is whether you like quality or quantity.
I thought Canelo's quality thumped Golovkin's little bit more quantity and so Canelo clearly won the fight imo.

You know that’s so true cause if you remember his mantra before the first fight was all about bringing respect back to boxing in “true fight”and I’m sure he genuinely believed that he could win by boxing his way to a decision as appose to his street fighting thing he didn’t with Brook.Guess all of us could have said “I told you so” in that the guy did Box his way to a win albeit not at his best by a long shot but still in most folks eyes, the commentators eyes, boxing journalists eyes and most media were all of the opinion that he did enough to win and so quite rightly he feels that no respect for boxing came out of that fight and then given what happened with Canelo and his suspension and his subsequent loss of his IBF belt you just know that Gennady is now on a mission to right all those wrongs and as you rightly say he’s out to beat DLH,NSAC and the corruption with the powers that be.

Is he right to think this way,I’m not so sure?as I honestly feel that he didn’t perform well that night so you could say a draw wasn’t unfair but the manner of the decision was unfair with nefarious judging by Byrd.
I do know that in one of Sechbacs vids when he asked Richard Schaefer about his pick he recently changed his mind from Canelo to Golovkin from seeing him train up at Big bear which is great news for GGG fans as we all seen the shape he was in leading up to his first camp so imo this time he’s leaving nothing to chance so we can discount the age thing imo and put it this way.......is it possible for Golovkin to be any worse than he was in the first fight?ladies and gentlemen I rest my case.

Yep as a Golovkin fan I was very underwhelmed by his performance and imo it was all to do with Abel Sanchez advice from the corner about winning every second of every round which made Gennady look erratic at times and instead of the usual patient operator who looks to set traps and hunts you down he came across as rushed, head hunting and neglected the body.
All that said it says a lot of the guy that he even in one of his worst performances still came away with a draw and according to the general consensus at the time did enough to win but I take your point as all the flash smooth work and eye catching stuff was from Canelo but from round four onwards imo he doesn’t sustain it long enough to negate the work from Golovkin and however untidy you think it was he still consistently put Canelo on the ropes and enough success of his own to win the majority of the rounds so as an example even in round ten Box nation who scored first three rounds to Canelo didn’t even feel he’d done enough to win round ten based on thirty secs of brilliance.
All in all I think a draw was fair to both as neither were dominant enough to warrant winning all those belts.

I wasn’t underwhelmed by his performance. He clearly won on my card, as well as many others.

Only this time, it’s gonna be 100% clear, cause he won’t let it go to the cards.

You say that you don't score with bias, but you have yet to demonstrate that.

If you read between the lines here, you can tell a lot about how you really feel but are unwilling to put it in writing.

You said GGG put in one of his worst performances. That statement alone speaks volumes. Now, how can you expect to beat a top level guy like Canelo (who's undefeated outside of a close decision loss to Mayweather 5 years ago) with "one of his worst performances"?

It just doesn't make any sense to say GGG had one of his worst performances but it was still good enough to get a draw or beat Canelo. Canelo outperformed GGG in the first fight, he was mokre effective, he landed the btter punches, he showcased better defense, he landed more body shots, etc. To beat Canelo, you need to have one of your best performances to stand a chance. You're absolutely right that GGG had one of his worst performances, and the poor performance resulted in him losing a lot of rounds. He was getting hit with punches he doesn't usually get hit with round after round. GGG had his moments but it wasn't enough. He got gifted a draw in what was one of his worst performances of his career. GGG needs to perform better in the rematch, if he gets outboxed and performs poorly but gets gifted another draw or a win it would be a black mark on boxing.

my own feeling watching it live that it was a draw and a nailed on draw meaning neither did enough and it doesn’t matter how well Canelo boxed cause at the end of the day he couldn’t win more than six rounds.
That said you’re absolutely right in that to beat Canelo on home turf an ok performance isn’t enough and only your best would deserve a win which is why I was disappointed in Golovkin but this isn’t about my opinion really or yours as the general consensus on the night amongst peers,ex pros and current, commentators ect was that Golovkin won by a round or two with some others like Paulie M having even wider.
That’s just a fact albeit not one I totally agree with, for me it was a bit like Badou Jack v Stephenson a nailed on draw and if you can find any more rounds for Canelo other than six you’re not being fair to either guy as neither did enough damage to earn those belts.

I can only imagine what it must be like to follow Canelo as he shows flashes of Brilliance but he never sustains it,always takes rounds off mid fight to conserve his energy as he knows himself that he’s prone to gassing out.Ok standing in the corner against Chavez jnr but you can say the same re Canelo in that only a sustained attack is enough to get a win against such a dominant champion such as Golovkin and to be fair I think we will see that this time but he’s so good at times you just wonder why he only does it for thirty secs of each round?
My take on it this time is that Golovkin will be more patient and look to be more accurate and I reckon he’s gonna risk getting knocked out in order to get his own KO and to be sure I do believe Canelo could be the one to KO Golovkin providing he looks as strong as first fight.
All I All though given what I just said about Golovkins performance I just think if his worst efforts gets him a draw then he can only improve and after all said and done may the best man win.

On your point about Golovkin consistently putting Canelo on the ropes, I like what Chris Byrd said about that.
Byrd said, "Golovkin didn't put Canelo on the ropes, Canelo put himself on the ropes and was comfortable playing defense and countering from there."

This was a very poignant comment by Chris Byrd and what he was saying there relates to GGG being given round 4 by all 3 judges when Canelo went to the ropes for 30 seconds in the middle of the round and was comfortable playing defense and countering from there. Chris Byrd made it known how hard that is to do and how that can be interpreted. I'm not even sure if most of the people commenting on what Chris Byrd said even gave that comment any thought.

The fact is that outside of those 30 seconds, Canelo won the 4th round. And within that 30 seconds when Canelo was on the ropes, Canelo didn't get hit with anything, was countering, and was staying there looking comfortable along the ropes picking off GGG's shots. It was impressive. Chris Byrd's point was that if anything that sequence (particularly in the 4th round, as opposed to sequence in the 5th where GGG actually landed something) should have helped Canelo win the round, instead it was obviously used to give GGG the round. Not just by the officlal judges but by pretty much every fan that's scored the fight has parroted that and given that round to GGG. The only way you can come to the conclusion that GGG won round 4 is by having a complete opposite mindset that Chris Byrd was saying there about going to the ropes.

This is a very important point too because a fighter going to the ropes and fighting off the opponent effectively like Canelo did there in the 4th round is one of the hardest things to do in boxing, it takes an incredible amount of skill and confidence. And you have the fact that going into the bout GGG fans and many media pundits made it a point to say how Canelo going to the ropes vs GGG is a no-no, and Canelo totally disproved that with what he did in the 4th round, and not only was it not rewarded by pretty much anybody, but it wasn't appreciated by anybody and it should have automatically been appreciated as it's such a rare sight to see especially vs a feared puncher like GGG.

Well you can’t deny how comfortable he looked on the ropes so there could be some truth to that.i just remember Paulie M saying afterwards that you’re on the ropes cause the other guy put you there but he’s not very reliable when Canelos concerned is he?its like CST80 trying to talk about AJ in a non bias viewpoint lol
