Tottenham paid £13m for Gareth Bale and a few years later sold him for around £85m. In sports, the commercial worth of athletes can change dramatically in a small time period. We ought to be sharp enough to realise that boxers’ commercial worth will fluctuate significantly depending on who they box. If Wilder boxes Joshua it could generate £100m - that after all is the prediction of Hearn himself.

    What’s so hard to fathom?

If Wilder is so rich how come he doesn't pay himself anything and his opponents get peanuts too?

Wilder and his $1.5-million-per-fight empire don't have access to the level of financing to stem a $50 payout to AJ.

In the world of finance, if Nokia (a $25 billion company) came along and proposed an offer to buy the de-facto market leader Apple for $1 trillion dollars. Would anyone trust this offer? Or would one be wise to be skeptical?

Remember when Wilder fans told us Al Haymon has the money no problem.

Putting out the begging bowl to Frank Warren and BT sport when AJ is signed to Sky sports is desperate.

Besides Martin, Wlad, and Parker Joshua doesn't pay his opponents much more than Wilder does. Takam and Molina made around $500K against Joshua and Breazeale's purse was undisclosed. Stiverne and Ortiz both made $500K.

Except Wilder will never even be close to being worth as much as Bale. Bale is a god compared to Wilder, you can’t even compare.

Team Wilder cant even afford a donkey to pull the plough and is only risking it all against a 3 year layoff obese cokehead Fury because he needs the money to payoff the lawsuits for Povetkin defamation. The people who believe team Wilder can muster up $50 million... well... there are also grown adults who believe in Jesus, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny.

Joshua has a 3 year contract with Sky.

That will generate Sky over $100,000,000 as a result.

Therefore, why would Sky allow Joshua to break his contract for significantly less than $50,000,000?

    This isn't a new concept......

How many times has the HBO/Showtime rivalry delayed fights?

In the UK market, Joshua is to Sky/BT Sport, what Mayweather was to HBO/Showtime.......

Whoever has Joshua, dominates UK PPV.

Uh oh, rumours making the rounds that Fury is now balking at the financial offers coming from Wilder's side.

    Egg on face anyone?

If this fight doesn't happen, Wilder gets completely exposed again.

    Klitschko
    Povetkin
    Joshua
    Fury

There is no way that 4 Heavyweight World Champions, 3 of whom are Olympic gold medalists, 'Fear' fighting Wilder.

So HBO and Showtime both showing a simultaneous ppv is the same as AJ fighting on BT box office?

Don't know how many times it has to be said. AJ has an exclusive deal with Sky.

The idea he or sky would happily fight on another network is simply ridiculous. Finkel would of known a fight without sky is a fight which doesn't happen.
