WBC 1 v WBC 3 (and some how mandatory) possibly coming together with the mandatory status on the line. This is definitely not a PPV event but I’d like to see it on a normal Sky Saturday fight night or I wonder if this could be a DAZN show in the states?

If I was Whyte, I'd seriously be asking why the hell he isn't the next madatory, just look at his last few wins. How he isn't mandatory is ridiuclous.

The WBC have properly screwed Whyte over his mandatory status. If I was him I'd tell them to ram it. he's got high rankings with the other governing bodies and the Joshua fight is on a plate.

The WBC have protected Wilder his entire career, the same as they have Stevenson.

How on earth you can make Molina vs Breazale a mandatory without either of them having to fight the #1 Whyte is ludicrous.

Almost as ludicrous as when they made Stiverne mandatory again despite having 1 win in 2 years over an unranked guy.

Fk Don King and fk the WBC.

Whyte has way too much for Breazeale. He’d stop him. Breazeale is a walking punch bag with telegraphed shots. I don’t rate him at all.

WBC have a strange relationship with British fighters/promoters never seen to get any favours over the years .

But this is his chance to right the wrong.

Although Parker was a good fight for the fans, it wasn’t his best option. Should have fought Ortiz or Pulev.

The fight makes sense when you consider Whyte wants another fight before the end of the year. Also when you consider both Champs are already fighting, then fighting Brezeale who is another highly ranked opponent but one that Whyte should easily deal with.

If Whyte finishes the year with wins over, Browne, Parker and Breazeale then it's a very good year for him that would certainly put him in for a title shot at some point next year.

This is a good fight but I do think Whyte has 2 better options:
Chisora rematch - big payday, another O2 sellout
Winner of Charr - Oquendo - EASY fight to become WBA 'regular' champ.

I would pick Brezeale to beat Whyte, but then again I picked Browne and Parker to beat Whyte.

I've read that he got 4mill for the Parker fight because it was on PPV, I doubt Ortiz/Pulev would have been on PPV.

At least now he has the freedom to go after the riskier fights as he's set-up financially.

Whyte would beat Breazeale easily imo, winning every round until a late stoppage. Breazeale is so technically unskilled, incredibly hittable, finds himself getting stunned or hurt in nearly every fight he is in. Whyte would beat him up.

Breazeale is basic but somehow seems to find a way and carries enough power to have Dillian hanging of that bottom rope again. He will take flush shots to try and get to him but Whyte is levels above him technically. Could be fun.

I really hate that fight. We all know that will be next but I have no excitement to see it at all. Purley for the casuals to say he is a world champ
