i will not argue any of your points other than to point out that ovidsexile, an intelligent and knowledgable poster, has mikey garcia pretty even with the top handful of achievers in boxing right now, so where does this all bark no bite narrative come from?

 

I wouldn't give him an automatic win over Pac but I think that he knocks Loma out and gets broken down and then broken up by Spence.

 

That huge bullseye of a jaw is a KO waiting to happen.

Yep he’s one of the good guys and i believe him,of course he could knock Lomo out.
My only gripe about him has been more to do with Sechbac trying to create s*** like he does and using a good guy like Mikey to fire bullets.

 

Yes you kinda feel the Spence thing won’t happen after 99% of the boxing world all say he’s mad and too small to fight Spence,quite clever actually as it would appear as if he really wanted to fight him but listened to the voice of reason.
Of course we all know considering his size that it’s Lomo he should be fighting.

 

Google ‘Mikey Garcia boxrec’, then google ‘Mikey Garcia calls out..’ Then tell me if there’s a discrepancy between the lists of opponents in terms of quality. It’s really not hard at all. Mikey is the epitome of bark no bite. It’s not a narrative, it’s a factual observation. It’s an objective empirical pattern for everyone to look at.
I don’t know why you’re talking about intelligence and knowledge, you’re clearly unqualified and incompetent to talk about those things and judge anyone else.

I get that, you want to ignore facts and what is self-evident to instead worship names and heroes. Some of us like the sport in itself and are objective viewers, others like yourself are fans of characters and hype. I'm not saying I'm better than you because I know far more about boxing than you and that I'm more honest about what I see, it's just as valid to be a fan of the entertainment and paper belts as you get excited about a hero of yours knocking out bums and talking about what he's going to do. We just have different levels of analytic ability and different focuses/interests in regards to the sport/entertainment. Mikey clearly hasn't done anything for years but you like him, that's fine. You do you and enjoy it until Mikey gets exposed against the first elite guy he faces. Mikey obviously isn't terrible, he's what I would call average. About or a bit lower than Danny Garcia level. Good basics without doing anything well, what puts him slightly below Danny is that Danny has at least pushed himself to fight some decent competition. Mikey is avoiding that development and it's going to bite him. I think he knows that hence the diva behaviour and the attempt to develop his profile by talking rather than by proving. He's trying to follow the Floyd method but unfortunately for him he doesn't have the Floyd talent.

if you were some overenthusiastic noob, i could understand and would patiently try and explain why some of your opinions are incorrect and above debate at these levels. but youve been here for 6 years. this is a boxing site, remember, not the comments section of some youtube video, no need to debate weather srr is any good or whether mikey garcia is world class yet. 6 years to get to this point suggests a learning disability.
