That really is the issue, if the fight was Nov/Dec 19 I would seriously consider it. Other half wants to go Vegas (I see literally no appeal), so have said will only go if we can go Boxing or UFC whilst there.

It is amazing how many people are attracted to losing money in Casinos and flashing lights.

She wants to see the hotels etc.

I do gamble but see absolutely no appeal in doing in a grand in a casino because 'when in Rome' so to speak. If I could see a World Title fight or a UFC PPV then the trip becomes more appealing.

Yep. Max 20,000. Not huge in my book pal. In fact reasonably cosy.

One where I see both fighters wanting to go toe to toe....go into the trenches with one another. Both at the top of their game who have a dislike for one another.....a complete grudge match between 2 evenly contested warriors. I don't ask for much....ha ha

As far as arenas go, 20,000 is big.

I've been several times and although I don't gamble much and it's not my favourite city its worth seeing once I reckon. If you've not been before, you would probably find enough to entertain you both with or without the fight, at least for a few days. There's the strip with the craziness of the different massive hotels. You can find learner tables if you want to learn a new game. There's generally a gig you can go to or a show. Although Vegas crowds can be annoying because a lot of the attendees are there on conferences etc so don't care for the entertainment. The 'old' town is good for a night's seedy antidote to the strip. Then, if like me after a few days the sound of slot machines pinging is driving YOU BAT**** CRAZY then rent a car and see the desert, Hoover Dam, or you're within a day's travel of Joshua tree national park and the jaw dropping Grand canyon.

I imagine I will end up going to be fair. Used to play a lot of Poker in my youth, not sure I would fancy that out there though!

The National Park be more my bag than the strip.

Yeah the strip is initially mind blowing but once that wears off it gets quite tired quite quick. Ultimately the big hotels just have different facades but the underlying money sucking process is the same.

The surrounding area however is beautiful, rugged, unworldly in places. There's other national parks etc round there. Great to drive through for the feeling of space. You could drive t San Diego in about 4 hours via Death Valley and see the coast or down to Mexico or as I said Joshua tree national park and then the Grand Canyon which is a bigger knockout than anything fury wilder will offer. :)

The Joshua tree national park, where the branches are made of fine china. Breakages WILL be billed.

The behaviour of some people in national parks and the like drives me nuts. I want judge dredd style instant justice to be dispatched there with the most idiotic offenders catapulted into the canyon on PPV....

Thanks but I'm ok and not looking for your advice, free or not!!. What I decide to spend thousands of pounds on is my decision.....and a fury v wilder fight isn't getting any of it....lol!! Quite happy with boxing being one of my sports.

How would it cost thousands of pounds to watch in Manchester? The MEN is a great arena, hundred quid tickets are decent view and the atmosphere can be electric in there. Thousands of pounds? Like I said, find another sport pal
