Ive walked to the ring before and thought id rather not do this. Bit late though. No way i could ever turn back. Strange as it sounds that does take balls.

That's what Wilder would do in a fight with Body Snatcher Whyte if the WBC was taking Haymon brown envelopes to freeze him out.

A fully fit David Haye would have knocked him out before he had a chance to leave the ring.

 

I think it had something to do with his pay, boxing is a tough business an he may have decided the beating he anticipated was not worth the agreed amount

He wasn't scared he got told they were cutting 75% of his purse while he was in the dressing room so he said **** you and did this protest.

 

Yep it was about the purse for sure, he's an experienced journeymen so is used to taking a beating, been in with the ring some really big dudes like Zhang and Washington he wasn't scared he was pissed off at having his purse cut at the last minute. They knew they weren't paying him what they agreed pay before they told him, they told him at the last minute so he couldn't walk away, well that back fired lol.

Anyone fighting for PBC now will want the money in advance if they keep pulling this **** on their cards.

For real? The actually cut his pay by 3 quarters right before he entered the ring? Well **** I don't blame him then, what the **** PBC how the **** you gonna cut the peanuts you're already paying a journeyman before the fight (well at all really) What they can't afford to pay these guys?

 

IF PBC did cut 75% of his pay then fair play. In any other sport/job, everyone would do this... especially when you're about to get smacked in the face for how ever many minutes.
