The Quiet Man would've ragdolled Lewis.

Glad to see Fury’s response. I wasn’t trying to fling **** by starting this thread. Fat Dan, for all his flaws, typically gets good info. So hopefully whatever person who told him that either misspoke or was just stirring the pot.

He didn't "duck" he retired. Retirement is always a good option for a fighter. It's a hard business. "Ducking" is avoiding a fight to FIGHT SOMEONE ELSE.

I already told you people that you will look very stupid claiming the fight is off with no quotes.

Fury has confirmed he has no intention of pulling out.

It may happen or it may not, who knows with Fury, he isn't the most reliable person and he is a proven liar in my opinion,

He claimed to be a clean fighter, tests positive for banned substances.. that makes him a liar in my opinion.

Anyway, Let's not forget.. We were told it was 99% done and they would make an announcement Monday after the fight, all that had to happen was Fury had to win,

Wasn't it going to be at BT Tower or something, Wilder was going to be there?

Fury won, no announcement, nearly a week later and still no announcement, nothing, apart from..

Dan Rafael saying he has been told by somebody very close to Fury that he is having second thoughts.. now that might be true or it might not be but I think it is clear that something has gone on or is going on behind the scenes.

If not, why no announcement? why no venue, date, promotional tour announced? People have to buy tickets, get hotels, you need to give people time to plan, maybe get time off work.

It's supposedly less than 3 months away.

When I first heard the fight announced the first thought that jumped to mind was that they didn't say they were going to fight each other next, just that they were going to fight. I think Fury will take at least one more tune up. Did everybody forget that Tyson Fury was in the mix and that you can't really rely on what comes out of his mouth.

Don't be shocked if Fury and Wilder fight on the same card next in the US both against no hopers.
Then they will try to ruin AJ's April date next year and schedule their fight close to it.

Fury has no business facing Wilder on the back of that performance against Pianeta. This is a huge fight but its pretty pointless if this current version of Fury shows up since he has the potential to be a lot better with a few more tune-ups.
His speed right now just isn't there and he's pulling his punches like an old man. Wilder won't find it hard to land fight ending power shots on him.

Fury is better off to sit this one out for the time being. Remember David Haye looked ok against two bums before being totally dismantled by Tony Bellew.
Two more fights this year and then Wilder early 2019 would be his best option.

I can see that happening, it wouldn't surprise me whatsoever and they will spin it as "promotion".

I can imagine FW and Finkel saying "3 months wasn't long enough for a fight of this size.. blah blah blah"

Something isn't right, this was supposed to 99% DONE and announced last week and we have had nothing, no announcement, no explanation, no updates.

But we've had Dan Rafael saying there is a problem, so people will start to speculate and start connecting dots.

Who on this planet earth do you think can prepare EITHER Wilder or Fury for each other?

It's a waste of time. If it weren't Wilder it would be Charr...and Fury would school that fool for 12 rounds straight easy for a free strap.

In current HW boxing you have to jump in the deep end and either sink or swim. Wilder, AJ and Fury all managed to swim in the deep end.

Fury is going into camp next week and will be 250 pounds of slick gypsy ready to take on Wilder who almost got felled by 50 year old Ortiz

He carried pianeta any fool can see that. It was another sparring session...but aren't all of Fury's fights sparring sessions? Wilder is next for his schooling session.

Mark my words THIS IS A FIGHT.

Yes ideally Fury could do with another fight...but I doubt it will make a difference. He is on fighting weight now and one more camp will have him more than ready.

Wilder is easy to prepare for...he only has one thing going for him...power. He doesn't fight inside only outside. Easy to prepare for.
