It was a matchup of two of the best cruiserweights of that era and it seldom gets mentioned. Just watched the fight and had Lebedev winning 7 rounds to 5 with him winning rounds 1,4,6,7,8,9, and 12. How did some of you have it?
I had it 7-5 for Lebedev as well, not sure which rounds, maybe I'll go back and rescore it for my RBR thread.
It was close but clear. Lebedev should have won , 116-112, 115-113 Lebedev can't see a Huck victory here. Robbery
R1: 10-9 Lebedev R2: 10-9 Huck R3: 10-9 Lebedev R4: 10-9 Lebedev R5: 10-9 Lebedev R6: 10-9 Lebedev R7: 10-9 Lebedev R8: 10-9 Lebedev R9: 10-9 Lebedev R10: 10-9 Huck R11: 10-9 Huck R12: 10-9 Huck 116-112 Lebedev
Huck's style can make for boring fights at times. He throws a massive straight right and either drills you with it or falls into a mailing clinch. Was surprised watching the fight how good a jab huck has when he bothers to use it.
I remember it being very close, I believe I had Lebedev by a point, but the criticism Huck got for it is like most of the criticism Huck gets for anything and everything; at least slightly unwarranted.
