Which bit makes you mad? Finkel did say discussions would not be productive and cancelled meetings. They were given 24 hours to agree to something with only the knowledge of 1 detail alone. I know what you have been saying about BT Sport but even though technically on paper it could be on BT cuz its in America it was ridiculous to do it.

I know Eddie Hearn is a slippery piece of ****, they all are and i dont believe everything he says, but i do know that the 50 million dollar offer is a bollocks one. Ive said many times im sure the money was good, the rest of it unsignable. But some of these people keep banging on about the 50 million ducked doe, over and over again.

You've woefully misunderstood the dynamics of this negotiation. There is no 'next one' to send in. There is one A side, unified champion and box office draw, one. They don't get to dictate terms to him, they don't get to tell him how it's going to be. He earned $47m last year. He will earn more this year. He doesn't need them, doesn't need the fight, doesn't need to break his commercial contracts, doesn't need to pack a toothbrush if he doesn't want to.

Once you understand this basic truth it's a lot easier to understand the reality of the offer.

I think you're probably about right there and the same goes for the contract sent to Wilder from Matchroom. Although I will say I think it wasn't unsignable for AJ as Hearn has pretty much said himself, its up to him as there is more money going to America. Old boy Barry Hearn said AJ turned the deal down 'for the UK fans'.

Surely the DAZN deal is a huge roadblock. I've said before, why would they offer Matchroom all this money without guarantees that the biggest product is on their service?

You know, your right i wouldnt ask for proof of funds, not to Walmart. But i would ask what i would be expected to do for that money becuase its such a strange amount of money for a check out person. Their answer would be "We are not telling you until you agree to the contract". Id be damn nervous about that and even more so when they tell me thats the offer, ive got 24 hours to accept it or not and then kick me out of the interview and refuse to discuss it any further.

A flat fee is a kick in the bollocks, it was a bad offer and they know it, they can do better and Hearn hasnt been half as accomodating as he could of been. Personally i think both fighters wanted it more than either promoter but they listen to their promoters. I like the idea of DAZN but its guna be a big problem making alot of fights over the next few years. Eddie has got his work cut out making this thing work. Hes already losing out on purse bids with some big numbers beating him down and networks are not going to go down without a fight.

No point at all in this conversation.

I am on television for what I do and what I do is still suspect around these parts because these guys are so incredibly talented and knowledgeable they're beyond expert, pro, inventor level, and can simply read my opinion and spin it to prove they know much more about my profession than I do.

I'm paid to know what no one else on the planet knows, but all I gotta do to no longer be the exclusive harbinger of that knowledge is talk about it here. Then someone will pop up with a differing opinion and a whole slew of semantical reasons as to why they know more than I do.

It's a crazy time when right and wrong are subjective and the measuring stick is how many people agree. By crazy of course I mean ******ed. You is ******ed mother****ers.

Where are you getting this 50 million to Sky stuff, or is this just an arbitrary number you made up?

There is no "doubting" this...it is a documented, recorded, legitimate fact acknowledged by each party involved in the negotiations.

In another post he says if Joshua was to agree to the 50m he would actually loser 100m!

How can you debate with idiots like that?

Yes there is, and on the way out of his 50M++ deal, AJ heard the next in line saying "that's what happens if you try to deal with crooks and dossers. Where do I sign?"

Well yes they did offer it but the devil is in the detail. That detail being the fight wouldn't be on Sky which makes the offer practically null and void.

    Who told you this rubbish?

Did Eddie Hearn, Finkel, Al, AJ , or Wilder ever bring this up?
