For all we know Robert was shooting the breeze with a Top Rank janitor, I'm sure there are more than a couple folks over at PBC that think Mikey gets beat by Lomachenko.

It's not a terrible fight. I'll watch. At least Chenko is not fighting another old man. We won't have to read thread after thread after thread about how "experienced" Beltran is.

Nah, not the guy who's made all the fights people said he'd never make. Not the guy that's worked with Haymon, Hearn, and Oscar in very recent times. Nah, not him.

true enough, too close to risk millions when there are much safer pay days.
mikey loses, promotion shifts to mikey was struggling to make weight and is moving to welter, and there are multi-million dollar fights there for him. loma loses, promotion shifts to size being too much of a factor, but where does he go for a superfight?
arum is loyal to the dollar ONLY. arum knows the salido fight has been practically forgotten, but losing to the guy who beat the guy who beat him, eliminates any style arguments. how does he sell a #1 p4p story after that?
of course this is all speculation, but thats how i see it.

Pedraza is a good fighter, a decorated amateur who beat Selimov (who beat Loma). He fought a dumb fight against Tank but until he got stopped he gave Tank plenty of trouble, it was only Tank’s power that bailed him out.
Pedraza is tall and fast, and southpaw. He has the tools and style to give Loma a very tricky night.

We can’t have Mikey v Loma because Mikey is a diva talking and ducking. Mikey is an easy fight for Loma anyway, perfect style for Loma to style on. So I prefer this fight personally, tougher test for Loma.

Not a great fight but very few fighters nowadays face top 5 or truly appealing elite guys consecutively.

I don't get more money, do you? I said "now all we get is trash talk." If we're getting more money too I need to know how to get in on this :deal:

I think that Mikey beats him also. I think he figures him out and stops him.

Pedraza has become way too underrated since the Tank loss. Davis was and always will be as wrong a fighter can be for him. And just as unfortunate, an early stoppage loss almost guarantees said fighter will be criminally underrated and labeled garbage no matter what he does thereafter unless you pull off a MAB like comeback after being stopped. Chances of that happening is like hitting a million bucks on a $2 scratch ticket, bouncing back better than before, going on a historic run and becoming an ATG.

Pedraza is a talented boxer with good skill, footwork, and size/reach. Dont just look at the end result of his loss on boxrec and **** on him, not to mention Tank is HIGHLY gifted and talented and pretty much the epitome of a fighter with the potential to end close matchups violently and early.

Pedraza had one bad outing as a pro and was a very decorated, tested, and regarded amateur, so he definitely has some skill and ability.

That said I think Loma beats him but I HIGHLY doubt that he dog-walks Pedraza like some delusional onon here are claiming. I also HIGHLY doubt Tank dog-walks him again if they have a future rematch, though imo hes the only guy around that weight class with the potential to.

I'll say it again, Pedraza is a very good fighter and he's been competing at thw highest levels of the sport for a while. As an AM he was consistently in all the big international tourneys. Hes battle tested and been doing this since he was a kid. Dont sleep on him.

Canelo too and he's going straight for GG, and Canelo inactivity is longer than Loma....

Well, if he loses to Golovkin, he always can say that's because of his knee...
