Either way is there any real point in Steve jr continui g boxing? Ok in in his genes etc etc but let’s face it he’s going nowhere. If he has another safer line of work why does he bother with the boxing?? It’s not like he’s any good at it.

A little but harsh Len but i get where you are coming from,he has a chance of winning the irish title at best i would say, If he is doing it fulltime prob time for a rethink alright but if he is one of the growing semi professional fighters (working/college) then i say let him box on,just stay at his level,as long and he and his coaches know what that level is,

I know it's a bit hard on him, true. It's strange. In the UK Benn Jr and Eubank Jr get a very hard time from fans..... And those guys can fight. They're good. Here nobody criticises sutcliff Jr and Collins Jr for not being as good as their old man etc... And they're much poorer imitations of their father s than the UK lads are. I guess it's a culture difference or something....

The Quigley Murata fight is off ...thankfully! Nobody wants to see another Jamie conlon and Barnes type hammering ...maybe you’ll be ready someday Jason, not yet though...

I think some of the reaction against Eubank Jr. was a result of the way he'd been overhyped and oversold himself as something he proved not to be. he was proclaiming himself the future of boxing without bothering to learn how to jab...

I know Steve ormond has had a few go against him but he was lucky last night! Doesn’t look like he has much left in the tank at 35 to be honest.

The refs call to score the knockdown in the 8th was a disgrace.
Ormonde never touched him, overextension and a slip.
Gave ormonde a 2 point round and the fight...

James Tennyson VS Tevin Farmer for the world title. Interesting contest, Tennyson looks huge compared to Farmer.

Tennyson is the ultimate "size bully", I don't know how he does it but in fight after fight he is vastly bigger than hishapless opponent. This is why we need to reform the whole weight thing in boxing.

Irish Bad Boy from Newy and 6 x Irish Am Champ Conor Wallace who was deselected from the Northern Irish CMW Games squad for Brisbane is now based in Sydney. Wallace is well known as being Conor McGregor sparring partner in boxing when he fought Floyd Mayweather. Wallace has been sparring with Tim Tszyu son of Kosta Tszyu as he prepares to make his pro debut in Bendigo Sept 9 against Aswin Cabuy and then two weeks later on Sept 22 against Aaron Sesay. Wallace will be fighting as a LHW.

Wales former underground fighter Jamie Weetch did the same and now he is ranked no 15 by IBF at 154 lbs.

Conor Wallace it seems was confronted by a group of vigilante 's with knuckle busters and luckily somebody called the police and intervened. Anyway Conor is not based in Sydney but Brisbane under the tutelage of Steve Dellen from Fortitude Gym.
