    Bazza on video admitting he doesn't want the fight, and was amazed that Finkel wanted it when they had their meeting, calling it bad business!

    A refreshing honest voice.

    Rejecting $15,000,000 and saying you want to get paid more is no different to what Barry Hearn is saying here.


    Wilder wants to get paid more than he's currently being offered?

    He's going to have to wait until that 300-400k US buys turns to 1 mil+ US buys like Barry Hearn just said.



    The problem is that Wilder doesn't get anywhere the figure he wants if either man loses, that's why there's far more pressure on him.


    A side bullying the B side just like Mayweather v Pacman......
    But the American side don't like it now the shoe is on the other foot.
    "A taste of their own medicine" springs to mind.


    It sucks for the fans.....
    But lets hope this gets resolved like Pac v May, and not Lewis v Bowe.

    No, of course he wouldn't say AJ himself doesn't want it. Even that's a step too far for old Bazza. But he said he advised AJ to hold off on that fight. Also said he was amazed that Finkel wanted the fight next, calling it bad business practice when the fight generates much more in two year time. He believes Finkel may be trying to cash Wilder out.

    He says if AJ goes 10 years undefeated without ever fighting Wilder, then he will happily take that. When questioned that AJ or Wilder may lose before two years time, Bazza said that's the risk you take, but life is all about taking risks.

    Ps, it says Team AJ in title not AJ. However, it doesn't seem AJ himself wants this fight either. This nonsense about fighters will fight anyone is the most false cliche in boxing.

    Basically said if he was promoting the fight he'd wait 12-24 months in the hope that Wilder/Joshua become a bigger draw in the US so that 300-400k US buys becomes 1-1.5 million buys.

    Lou Dibella was caught saying the same thing the other day.

    That both Wilder + Joshua have, and I quote 'Other things to take care of' before fighting each other.


    Both sides are in it together ffs.

    I like Barry, he manages to strike the balance between arrogance and charm without seeming smug, a lesson his son will learn in time. And he was given nothing in life, he earned it all. Gotta respect a self-made man.

    As for the the will-the-won't-they Wilder deal.... I've had enough....

    Anyway, your true colours are out. You are biased. You lost all credibility when you said there is no evidence Wilder does more PPV buys vs AJ than Parker.

    I can't take you serious.

    If Hearn admitting on video that Whyte is next for AJ and then going all squeaky 'I meant Wilder, I meant Wilder' and now Bazza telling you he doesn't want it and was amazed that Finkel did, doesn't drive home to you that AJ ducked Wilder then you are truly a lost cause.
