Daniel Dubois to spar with Povetkin

That's interesting. It will be something to pay attention & see how many things rub off an Daniel & what he can absorb from such a grizzled veteran with tools. Dubois is already an elite prospect and some polishing is needed.

 

Good move for Dubois! There's a lot he can learn from Poverkin.

Considering HW's are getting heavier and taller, how many guys with Povetkin's dimensions and skillset will Dubois fight in his career?

 

We already have it, apparently Martin Bakole sparked him out in sparring already.

 

I doubt he cares. It's for Povetkin's benefit more than his. He's being paid for the privilege.

 

Using Dubois as a sparring partner is properly trolling AJ....

It was just aimed at those saying it would be a great experience for Dubois......It's good money, nothing else tbh.


Dubois should be hoping to fight the likes of Fury/Joshua/Wilder in the future.....
Povetkin isn't good prep for that.

 

That's the advantage you have when you prepare for Joshua, there are a lot of fighters who resemble him enough.

The robot style is becoming the primary boxing style in the HW division, most prospects are fighting with the robot style.

 

Also, allegedly, Vlad Sirenko will be Povetkin's sparring partner.
