Newsflash dude! EVERY opponent Carl haseverfaced has hadreach advantage. Literally every one! Carl wouldn't know what to do if he found himself in with a guy with shorterarms!
Calzaghe had power till he was in his 30s and hands went once to often. Its a bad comparison anyway as Calzaghe was an elite p4p fighter were as Josh isnt.
1.Carl was off form and unhappy for the second lsc fight. 2. Josh. Beat kiko? No ...he scraped past a pale shadow of the prime kiko Carl kod 3. As for calzaghe...see moogs post.
Agree with this people seem to have short memories. Kiko did enough for a draw in that fight at least. Calzaghe also could bang until his hands went. Chris Eubank has said he punches very hard. Josh on the other hand seems to have very limited power solely relying on output.
Our kid went 10 rounds with josh a few years back and he said tho josh isn't heavy handed he hits hard enough and he holds it from round 1-10 with a big output punches. This is a great fight and deffo not one sided as most think imo.
Yeah I agree with that, not knocking Warrington as boxer as he brings other quality to the ring aside power. Carl himself has admitted that Warrington will be a hard nights work.
It is great fight. I don't know why you say most people think it'll be one sided though. It certainly wont. Carl will have to be at his best. Josh is the wrong guy to turn in a bad day at the office against. While Josh IS good I feel Carl's a level above, that's all.
No they havn't, or if they have then the reach difference has been negligible. Don't forget he's faced sbw all his life, with sbw dimensions. Josh is a true fw.
1. No he wasn't. He was full of confidence and he and Shane thought the rematch was a mere formality. 2. I was ringside at the Martinez fight and no way was it anything but a win for Josh by a few rds at least. 3.see my reply to moogs post. L8ke maley says and I see you have agreed with. Josh punches hard enough. He's not a banger but not that many are down at these weights
Joshs ko rate is better than Carl's at fw over the championship rounds. Carl must be a non puncher as well, so that levels the field
Except for the injuries Luke Jackson got of Frampton there is nothing to suggest he is a puncher at featherweight. He may just be finding his strength up at featherweight, time will tell. Its not Carls punch power but accuracy that will be key v Josh.
Look at Nonito donaires face and luke Jackson’s face after they fought Carl. They were badly beaten up. Someone in that ring sure could punch! (Maybe it was the ref!!!)
It's an exciting fight. Warrington won't be as cautious as Quigg but that should bring out the best in Carl. Carl looks refreshed under Moore and stamina possibly improved so Carl should have enough to win by two or three rounds. I agree he'll have to be on his A-game, and I believe he will be. Carl UD in an exciting fight.
