Shadow "Canelo landed a thunderous, crunching shot ..."
Me, checking timestamp: Canelo lands a jab on the gloves.

    Don't waste time with Shadow.

I write fiction and not even I can invent the stuff he does.

They were engaged in combat and GGG threw a punch DURING THE EXCHANGE IN REAL TIME and he was thrown momentarily off balance when he threw a hard shot that blocked.

There was no time to answer in that sequence. It was just happening. Trying to answer is Pacquiao tapping his gloves together and then moving forward after he gets nailed. It was Clenelo blocking the shot along with momentum and direction of the punch being thrown.

So let me get this straight : you're story is that GGG was completely unaffected by that right hand Canelo landed?

Guy, all punches have an effect. Even butterfly kisses from Paulie. If I slapped — not punched — slapped — a prime Marvin Hagler (or GGG or Canelo or prime Margarito) across the face, he's going to feel a lot of pain. But in competition, in a boxing sense, that same slap's not going to have people saying that it bothered Hagler even though it would register pain. So did the punch hurt Golovkin? Yes. It's a punch. To the face. Did it hurt him? No. Did it buckle him as you seem to suggest? Certainly not.

Oh I see, so it hurt him, but it didn't "hurt" him. Got it . . . o_O

And that was a slap? LOL it was clearly a punch not a slap, a solid right hand as part of a one-two combination. If you call that a slap, I don't know what to tell you. That was anything but a slap, but rather a full on punch, but of course to you it was just a slap.

I didn't suggest it buckled him, but it seemed to have a delayed effect that caused GGG's legs to momentarily stop working properly when he tried to respond with a quick right hand that he obviously was in no position to throw as a simple block / parry of it put GGG off balance. Ask yourself, if Canelo didn't land that right hand right before, would a normal GGG right hand that was blocked so easily throw him so off balance?

Although the thread on the term “floored” left me in tears, this one probably wouldn’t be as entertaining. Just a platform for shadow & co to showcase their ability to pull stuff out of the hole their role model sticks spoons and rolling pins into.

Hey, what you do with sticks spoons and rolling pins is your business. I don't want any part of your twisted fantasies. But as far as this being a platform for me, just look at how all this back and forth started. GGG fans did not like hearing that Canelo "rocked" GGG lmao. They took exception to that, and tried to re-definite what getting rocked is so that what Canelo did to GGG in the first fight doesn't count as "getting rocked". LOL you can't make this stuff up.

Didn’t read past the first sentence.
Am I your role model? Nope.
So that right there shows us how you post - come up with **** vaguely related to what is said by others.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

You must be about 10 years old.

That's why nobody wants to debate you, because you're the kid that says "You missed!" even when the cap gun is held to his frickin head.

    :ohno

I stated that Canelo rocked GGG, and what happened after that? Several GGG started coming at me with "no he didn't" "what getting rocked means is this" etc etc etc and here we are. GGG fans just can't accept that he got rocked by Canelo. This is too funny. The other day a reporter said to Canelo after the media workout that he rocked GGG in the first fight. Still GGG fans don't accept that Canelo rocked him lol. You asked me to time stamp when he got rocked. I did that, you have several examples to choose from, and I'm happy to discuss whether he got rocked or not, yet the further we go, the more cringy posting I am met with. And somehow through all of that I'm the 10 year old for remaining professional and rational?

Look, as much as it hurts you to admit, Canelo rocked GGG on several occasions. That's what happened, now if you have too much pride to accept that, or your GGG fandom prevents you from admitting what happened, that's your issue. I could care less how in denial you are about what happened in the first fight. You've already stated several times that you didn't think the first fight was even all that close, that GGG won so clearly, which is pretty hilarious, but at the same time I've accepted you for the delusional GGG fan that you are and I see no reason why we can't be friends. We just jab each other on here and tell each other how delusional we think the other is. It's fun, and it builds up anticipation for the rematch, which makes it more fun.

But there's no reason for you to any other GGG to come at me with the sort of cringy posting that we've seen. I'm a stand up guy, who is a fan of Canelo but is also a very reasonable neutral fan who just loves to talk boxing and get into the details. If you want to do that, you know where to find me, and lets talk some boxing.

Maybe some people have a different idea of what 'getting rocked' means than you and the journalist?

The rest of your post doesn't really jibe with your "I'm a very reasonable neutral fan." description of yourself btw

Taking into consideration the new definition of "rocked" it's clear Golovkin "rocked" Canelo with every other punch. Look, as much as it hurts you to admit, Golovkin rocked Canelo on most occasions. That's what happened, now if you have too much pride to accept that, or your Canelo fandom prevents you from admitting what happened, that's your issue.
