I've only been to Baltimore. It's bad and if you look at the stats you will see that Baltimore has a lot more crime. USA Today called it "America's most dangerous city".

In answer to your incredibly original question: 'Who did FMJ beat?'. The only possible answer is: A vast array of elite fighters. Fine, argue the toss over when those fight took place - that point carries some traction - but to suggest his resume is light on top opposition just makes you look idiotic. Fair enough. The answer is still 'a vast array of elite fighters'. And as for the TBE label, so what if FMJ thinks he's the best ever? The vast majority of boxing experts and fans don't agree. Do you think Bernard Hopkins is really an alien?

 

I do watch the news. I'll read those articles. I do know for a fact that per capita Baltimore is by far the most dangerous and violent large city statistically speaking. It needs help.

And my main point was that Davis and FMJ have almost nothing in common in or out of the ring. Their styles are nothing alike and their personalities are nothing alike. Davis is a blue collar guy. And FMJ is an illiterate diva.

 

Because many of his fans actually believe it and pollute the boxing world with that ****. If FMJ could have just been a guy who didn't pat his own back with ridiculous claims I wouldn't get on his case all that much. Though his competition dropped off hard after 2003 and that was annoying. Before then he was fighting guys like Hernandez, Manfreddy, Corrales, Castillo, N'dou. None of them were at great fighters, but they were all good fighters and in their prime.

 

Chicago is much bigger than Baltimore and has a lower murder rate but that doesn't tell the real story. You would never know the crime that infest the city as a tourist because all the tourist stuff is downtown by the lake and on the north side which is the Chicago you see on TV. South Side Chicago is like a totally different world all of the killings occur on the South Side and West. If South Side Chicago was its own separate city its murder rate and crime rate would dwarf Baltimore.
