Usyk is sent back in time to the year 1942 to take the place of Abe Simon and challenge Joe Louis for his crown.....who takes it?

    Joe Louis

Louis but it would be a good scrap ,Usyk is an excellent mover, and a pretty well rounded fighter.

Yes probably. I'm high onUsyk and think he might make a good run at heavyweight in time.
I expect him to stop Bellew.

We need to see more of Usyk, and how he deals with a power hitter at heavyweight. However he has the tools to win a decision here.

Let's just say that if Conn's speed and movement caused Louis problems, Usyk might, too. But maybe that wasn't Joe's best night, as were most of the nights where he faced a good mover.

I think although with a limited pro career Usyk is a tremendous fighter but Joe Louis is a tough champion to fight. That being said I think Usyk could be something special and if he stays active time will tell soon. Usyk is not young but may have another 5 good years ahead. It seems he will be possibly be moving up and it would be interesting to see how he makes out. At this point my guess is he could give any cruiser or heavyweight champ a tough battle including Louis, Ali, Marciano, Lewis, etc. because he has great amateur experience at top level. I think if he gets past Bellow Usyk will pick the best fights in both divisions and probably stay in the 200-220 lbs range. Usyk is a fighter that depends on speed and movement and must keep his weight but now we have to see how he advances as he fights the top levels and see how he makes out before we can speculate

Usyk had a good chin. Much better than Conn’s.

You can stop right there cuz poor Olexander would be a welterweight and fighting relatives for morsels of the family dog thanks to Uncle Joe.

Usyk can't move as fast as Conn, though

I would say the Bomber out of respect, but this thread should be re-visited in ten years. Usyk is off to the kind of start where he might be something very special himself, and if he does end up winning a heavyweight belt, then we will be talking about a different fighter than the one we know today.

Did you see the Gassiev fight? Usyk was like a hummingbird, there one second and a mile out of range the next.
