Another lazy, stupid argument. So nobody should care about bad things happening anywhere else in the world if they're not emptying their bank account to hop a plane there and hoist a picket?

Is that really the crux of what you're saying?

The other guy clearly supports the ISIS agenda as he's not over there fighting them himself....

lol I love Thailand and the Thai people and even considered moving there after I finished college but let's be real, if that law is on the books, how often is it enforced? Around our base there were plenty of hookers that were under 18 and not one of them ever got arrested.

IB is entitled to his opinion, ive probably over grilled him a bit but i disagreed with a several of his posts.

He believes it should be banned, outlawed or whatever, good on him his choice.

Oh right did you ask to see their ID?

If you're talking about military base wherever you are in the world where you have a large quantity of men you will find hookers of sorts of descriptions. This is not specific to certain country.

No, I just asked them " How much?" Seriously though, don't be so sensitive. You have a beautiful country with beautiful people. I have no problem with the Thai culture, it seems to work for the Thai people since most of the people that I met there seemed very happy. Much more so than the people of the U.S.

I believe the authorities in Thailand (local commissions, or whatever regulatory body if any has national jurisdiction and oversight) should mandate a minimum age of 18 or at the youngest 17 for professional fighting of any kind. I don't consider that unreasonable.

And for the record, yes, I think Mexico should follow suit. This isn't to single out Thailand in particular but a 14 year old with two pro fights under his belt already sort of sticks out like a sore thumb because nowhere else do you hear of this happening. 14 is too young, and there's a huge gap in growth between 14 & 15 but even 15 is too young. 16 is borderline and 17 is the minimum cutoff that I'm comfortable with. 18 preferable.

100% cool with that under the right conditions with responsible limitations set by the adults present.

If they haven't been taught any proper technique (how to sit down on & turn over punches to maximize damage - stuff the average toddler is cognitively incapable of learning) and they're wearing poofy gloves and headgear, that's no different under supervision than a literal pillowfight. Just flailing at each other, worst they could get is a poofy thumb pad in the eye.
