These threads on new subjects would be much more interesting if half the posts didnt end with the word haters. Gives you the impression it may just be driven by an agenda.

So they're basically paid to not take additional more interesting fights on other networks?

 

It is remarkable. They've decided to protect all of their fighters from one another.

3.5 (which is really what you quoted) isn't quite the same as 4. Also, nice try with trying to conisder Andrade vs BJS a unification fight.

Yeah, if you count Klitschko-Joshua as a full unification bout, despite the fact that Klitschko held no titles going into the bout. In terms of fights that pit reigning titleholders against one another, it would still be 4-3 PBC.

 

To be fair, PBC does have an enormous talent pool.
Which unfortunately sits mostly on the sidelines.

 

It's easy to move the goalposts.....

Dave Allen probably has more fights in the last 18 months than the PBC roster.

 

What is a 'PBC fighter'?

Some of them do.

But Spence and Garcia are likely to fight three times this year.

Looking at some of the other PBC titleholders:

Wilder is going into the ring twice this year, it seems.
Stevenson is fighting twice this year ( and, in this year, at least, both times against top rated compeition)i
Benevidez will be fighting for the second time this year against Anthony Dirrell (a decent challenger)
The Brothers Charlo are likely to fight twice.
Hurd is injured but scheduled to return in November.
Thurman was injured, now awaiting his return.
Garcia's on fight two, though Porter is only on his first fight after two fights last year.
Davis probably gets two fights in this year.
GRJ only fights once a year, yeah.

Also, Payano and Tbiti are in the WBSS, so it seems as though in some cases, PBC is open to allowing some of their charges to explore other options.

Kind of a mixed bag. They could definitely improve, but a lot of their star fighters have acceptable/decent levels of activity.

 

Don't recall him engaging in any world title unification fights...
