Can you imagine how lauded he would be on here.

He would be the "boogeyman" of the division who everyone feared

His loss to AJ would be written off as he's a way better fighter now.

People need a dose of reality when it comes to hype job Luis Ortiz - if Wilder has the bottle to fight you, then you aren't feared by anyone in the division.

Wilder for example is literally petrified of Dillian Whyte and the WILDER BODYGUARD COUNCIL are being payed more by Haymon to keep The Body Snatcher away from Wilder than Wilder gets in his purses

Whether you believe Ortiz/Whyte is the better boxer.....

Ortiz, as a voluntary, was ranked lower than Whyte and brought in a lot less revenue.

Wilder turned down more money, to fight a lower ranked fighter by the WBC.

I hate Al Haymon too. So it wouldn't make a lick of difference to me. I liked Ortiz when he worked for Golden Boy, Matchroon and now that he works with Haymon.

The reason for that is... I actually like Ortiz.

BECAUSE WHO A FIGHTER'S PROMOTER IS, MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO REAL FANS.

Ortiz was well known here in the states, Whyte was not, and still isn't. It's as simple as that. That matters.

Have you really always liked Ortiz because I read a round by round from the Ortiz v Jennings fight the other day and I recall you was definitely cheerleading for Ortiz to get knocked out cold.

Was looking at it because a load of Wilder fans seem to be under the impression that Ortiz mopped the floor with Jennings and dominated from the first bell when the scorecards everyone had reflected what I remembered in that it was a pretty even fight until the KO

Yeah I did, I picked Jennings to win at the time, and when I pick an upset, I root for it. I was pissed because of Wlad getting beat by Fury, and I didn't want to see a guy that Wlad had issues with lose to Ortiz, its that simple. Although you probably know that since you were most likely around at the time as a different alt. I have this thread to back up that I did like him.

After getting bounced around by a guy with 15 fights, arguably losing to a guy with 6 losses, and being within 15 seconds of getting knocked on his ass by a guy who just got beaten up by the guy he lost to?

The Hearn fan boys are suffering from brain damage on account of having the Essex slappers long wood, so far up them that it’s puncturing brain cells.

    1. Ortiz is objectively a better fighter than Whyte who LOST to Chisora and ducked a rematch

    2. Wilder doesn’t need to fight Femi’s left overs to “qualify” for a shot. He isn’t anyone’s *****.

These Hearn groupies need to get a clue

The only notable fighter that Ortiz has beaten has beaten is Jennings and tht was 3 years ago. Ortiz really should fight a more established fighter with a better record next be it Whyte, Parker or Miller.

Nope, if Deleon Whytiz followed Luis Ortiz's career path he would still be ducking every single decent fighter until 36 years of age until he can find a light punching contender who's just come off a loss like Jennings and then get massively over hyped from that one win.

So Deleon Whytiz being only 30 still has 6 more years of fighting nobodies and wasting his career until he has that signature win and becomes the boogeyman of the division.
