The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. It's 1:45am PST on a Friday night/Saturday morning and I'm not balls deep in vag, so I'm gonna answer this question with furious anger and great vengeance because I am my brothers keeper. Wilder will for certain KO Usyk. This fight will never happen so it will always be a bicker subject on this board like Mayweather vs Margarito/GGG/Ward/Tyson/Ali etc....! Usyk will fight the weakest heavyweight his team can find first to test him out and if it goes wrong in the slightest,if they are smarter than they are brave, he will be a permanent cruiserweight fighter. Usyk is good for his class, HW is no shoe shiners paradise like the lower weights. There has NEVER been a great champion at HEAVYWEIGHT that was a ****ing feather fisted shoe shiner is entire run. Usyk couldn't get the KO on punching bag Gassiev aka Gassbag, so I know for certain he would get worked by a Chisora or Stivern. And you will know my name is Willie when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
Wilder down on all cards comes through with a knockout blow eventually. There's not much to go on when picking Usyk for the win.
Didn't Usyk's former trainer state he beats every heavyweight out there easily and the only threat to him is AJ? I'd agree with that comment.
Wilder wins via his right hand...... Usyk wins via everything else..... "Not much to go on when picking Usyk for the win".
Usyk beats AJ, Wilder, Whyte....the whole lot of them He needs to step up to HW ASAP and get ranking points because no one at HW is going to want to face him unless forced
Wilder has shown he has some trouble with southpaws and Usyk is far better than Szpilka and even Ortiz. I could see Usyk dancing circles around Wilder, taking away his jab with his lead hand like Ortiz did and using those quick feet to get in and out and his his counters and work rate being more than enough to win most of the rounds. Wilder could always land the one big punch like he did vs Ortiz but I think Usyk is far more elusive than the flat footed Ortiz. Usyk wins a clear decision. Doubt the fight ever gets made unless Usyk signs with Haymon though.
It's either Usyk by UD or Wilder by KO. I don't know which scenario is more likely because Usyk hasn't shown anything at heavyweight and we don't know how he would take Wilders punch.
True he's still an unknown quantity at heavyweight but his exploits in WSB where he beat Joyce and 2 guys that beat Joshua as an amateur in Nistor and Medzhidov suggests he'll be able to compete with the bigger men.
Beating Joyce doesn't suggest he could beat Wilder since they are nothing like each other. Joyce was slow and stiff , Wilder is fast and fluid. A 5 inch reach advantage to Wilder suggests Usyk wouldn't be able to move in and out without taking hits.
I have no doubt that he is able to compete but Joyce is not really comparable to Wilder, he is a stationary target whereas Wilder is a lot faster, even more awkward and hits a lot harder than Joyce.
