The figures of fatalities sometimes can't be used because boxing has been the classic sport for fighting for a long long period of time while some other sports have just started not over 10 years like MMA.

boxing. youre more likely to get hurt in some of the other sports, but its more likely to be permanent in boxing.

Depends on what you mean by most dangerous. Repeated head injury is most likely in boxing due to the large gloves (with smaller gloves, fighters just get knocked out in a matter of a few blows). As far as most dangerous injury-wise in a single fight, I'd say MMA since the gloves are small and the fight can easily be ended in one blow. Plus there's the grappling that can cause anything up to and including a broken neck in an instant.

Where can I vote for Sumo wrestling.

The ankle injuries must be off the charts.

I swear to God that's what I am thinking about putting into my list above but it's not human against human. That's why I canceled it.

I'd have to see some statistics but my guess is they are all about the same and safer than base jumping.

MMA gloves and boxing gloves have the same amount of force. The lesser weight is taken from the material that would have covered the fingers and the wrist, but the amount covering the knuckles is the same. Thus, punch forces are equivalent, but eye pokes are more frequent in mma. However, knees, elbows, and kicks are allowed in muay thai and mma with no covering, which are not allowed in boxing.
