Just seen the latest WBA rankings. Cordina has been given #15 but in the light heavyweight is where it’s get interesting. Joe Fournier who hasn’t fought for 2 years and before that his last 4 opponents have a combined total of 2 wins between them is ranked #11 at light heavyweight and Joshua Buatsi comes in at #12. Could we be looking at Anthony Yarde’s next opponent here?

All these celebrity boxers getting all the limelight and paydays. What is boxing becoming? Thank god for the grass roots boxing clubs, trainers,promoters, and boxers both amateur and pro, who slog it out week in and week out for the love of it and a small purse. I am sure any of those lads or lasses would love to be on a big card in Vegas. They will have to do it the proper way. The hard way.
