Best info is it's still on, and the noise that waswcoming out eventually got firmly counterwd. But given both fighters track record there is reason to be very cautious until it actually happens. I'd say it's 60/40 that this fight happens.

 

According to Warren it's 100% on and he'll make an announcement last Monday, just needs to build a time machine and go back in time to do that lol.

Suffice to say nobody should be holding their breath for this one, it's far from done I suspect.

Main reason to doubt it is just a lack of faith in Fury and/or Wilder's word.

Personally, I'm still struggling to believe it will happen. Just seems way too early for Fury.

Yeah. Makes sense for both but only for fury if he thinks he's ready. Both have a bad track record but it's fury I suspect will be responsible for this one if it goes south. Mistake on his part, though. He's never going to land another big fight if he pulls out of yet another one. If it's too early, he never should have agreed to it on international TV. Now that he has, he needs to go through with it or just consent to not getting another big payday until or unless AJ gives him 25% in a few years.

They are probably asking Warren to fund astronomical amounts for the fight again, but the fight cant make that kind of money so they are getting shy. Not enough money for Fury, Warren doesnt want to lose money on a bogus deal, and as usual, Wilders numerous handlers are far too greedy and refuse to come back to the table.

I heard the Finkle has asked Eddie Hearn to 'Help arrange the finances' for the offer to Fury for the fight.....

Hearn has demanded it be on DAZN.

You can bet your last dollar that they will announce it on the fight week of AJ vs Povetkin. Well, I've been hearing this is the plan anyway.

Makes sense to just completely gatecrash and steal the limelight on the AJ fight week because it will tie hand in hand with they're narratives. "This is the real fight" "Everyone stepped up".
