If you play with McC, you get to play a little dogfight minigame in which you can earn lootboxes.

    True story.

Y'all really trolling, huh? It's sad because a boxing videogame could be a good thing for the sport and boxers like Gerald Mcclellan.

I get dogging this guy cause he's high on himself but ultimately you guys are being a little petty-ish.

How in the world can you desire a boxing video game then endlessly complain when a company makes or is making one after all these years without a new one? You're like the guy who only likes hundred million dollar budget movies or only listens to songs that top the download list or radio waves.

I don't play video games any more but I know the hope for a new boxing game has been a big subject on here for years now. I wish it the best.

I know, but in this case it's 3 things that annoy me.
You already mentioned one, but there's also the thing that this is only just a 3D model "poser" style, and I really don't like the worship of McClellan, who in his time was the posterboy of everything wrong with boxing.
I really hope to see one too, and for once over 30fps because the old (EA) ones looked like punching in slow motion.

Got to start somewhere [shrugs]. It very well may not get released. Obviously it's low budget. Don't get mad at these guys for going for it, channel that toward EA then! I say people should be hopeful for it, why not?

I feel the dogging of McClellan and jabbing at that, that's cool. But every single comment is a crazy negative one? That's just classic internet and forums at their worst. Not trying to be Mr. Nice Guy here, I dunno, just saying.

Is there a predicted release date? I feel like I've been hearing about this for at least a couple years now.

Odd to base a new boxing game around a fighter most of the gaming community are unlikely to have heard of. And I'm not sure boxing really lends itself well to gaming either. This might work on a niche level - should it ever get beyond the alpha stage, and the odds are against that too - but apart from that.... meh

I play an early release alpha version of a game called DayZ. Allegedly, that's 'soon' to go to beta testing. It's been at the alpha early release stage for more than four years. So don't hold your breath...

There's a wrestling game called Fire Pro Wrestling World that just came out on ps4, but the series has been around for ages. The game doesn't have the best graphics but nearly everything else about it is perfect (logic, gameplay, yada yada)

Another thing I love about it is the amount of created content by people online. There's 1000s of wrestlers you can download. In short, if a game was created that didn't have a ton of real life boxers at launch, but had the ability to download boxers made from the community, that would be pretty epic. The best creators would be known soon enough, (as in "so and so has the best Mike Tyson, etc.) I mean if a wrestling game can get around the limitations of a limited roster without getting into trouble, a boxing game would too. In this day and age almost every sports game has the ability for downloadable content.

Mentioning the color of the boxer is racist.

I didn't mean to come off as a jerk. My initial post was just to let fans know a boxing videogame is in the works.

What are the other indie companies making games and when - including this game - are the projected release dates?
