I think Porter wins based on Danny's fights with Guerrero and Rios. Yeah Danny is a master at counter punching but if you swarm him he's not going to get off so much. I'm rooting for Garcia though. Porter's style is just atrocious and his dad is the most pretentious ******* ever. Angel can be immature but he's funny as **** and entertainment. Porter's dad just comes off as the biggest know it all ******* who thinks his word is gospel and his **** don't stink.
Draw. Porter mauls enough to minimize Garcia's boxing abilities. Garcia'e effort won't be consistent enough
Garcia is cool under fire and that attribute may be what allows him to stop Porter. However, I think that Porter can out work him and get the decision.
Porter UD. A Garcia victory is better for boxing but I just can envision Poter rushing him like a bull, mauling him in an ugly contest.
My gut and brain has always led me in one direction, Porter wins this by wide UD possibly by late stoppage, he's a stylistic nightmare for Danny. Nothing I've seen recently would cause me to change my mind.
Garcia has struggled with boxers and Porter's style ain't that. His struggles in the past have come against technicians (Morales, Peterson, Herrera, even Judah) not someone who fights only one way. For as much as we think Garcia sucks (at least the flak he gets from fans), he is the more skilled fighter between the two. Look at his fight with Khan, he made adjustments and was able to lay him out. Swift learned from his mistakes against Morales and knocked him out in the rematch. Garcia has also fought at a higher level in terms of opponents. I just think Garcia is the better fighter between the two and might time and stop or hurt Porter on one of his bull rushes inside. As for Porter, he is strong and has good stamina but he doesn't really fight any differently than getting in close and winging shots at his opponent. And a lot of the time Porter's shots are ineffective (and he really isn't a big puncher). I think Porter has a good chin (not withstanding his KD against Broner) but I could see him hitting the canvas against Garcia once or twice. My prediction is Garcia wins a clear decision.
Right description, wrong outcome. I didn't think judges would see it Porter's way. Was it the 10th or 11th? Some fireworks. True enough Garcia was not consistent.
