So knocking out a recovering anti Semitic drug addict, formerly obese part time Sumo wrestler makes you the A side nowadays huh?

Wait till they announce the 180k PPV it sold. I can't wait to hear Wilder trying to spin that into a massive success.

Finkel, Wilder, Fury and Warren are throwing mud at Hearn and Joshua every chance they get. A good contract between Fury and Wilder would be instantly made public and thrown in the faces of Hearn and Joshua. But instead they have chosen to hint at big numbers but are keeping the facts locked away. As soon as i heard about that clause in a Fury interview i had to laugh. I think half the things that Finkel is going to end up putting in this contract are things he was ridiculing Hearn for putting in Joshuas favour in their offered contract.

Not that i personally care what anybody makes any of the time but seeing it is so relevent to fights being made its gotta be worth taking an interest in. I dont care what Fury and Wilder make i just find it amusing all the smoke and mirrors and efforts to try make the other side look bad all the time when most of the time they are just a full on walking contradiction.

Hmmmm I predict Hearn will be blamed if it flops, I'm not sure how but he will be.

Errrr maybe, errr, maybe, something like..

"Eddie Hearn went to all homes in America and took out all the remote control batteries, so people couldn't put their pins in, Hearn also cornered the world battery market and withheld them so real boxing fans couldn't buy it.. Hearn is a slave owner, AJ is a coward"

And the sad thing is Wilder fans would be in here saying it's true LOL

 There's a doc on Showtime right now about how Romesh Ranganathan's UK fortune and fame isn't worth much in America.

The Brits have a hard time accepting they're not as big a consumer state as America, but they aren't.

America is the outlet to the world...the modern day hegemony. That's why you all watch Game of Thrones instead of Still Game even though your television is actually way better than that HBO garbage...been Americanized and don't even know it. Which means being popular in America and being popular the world over is one in the same but being popular in the UK is just popular in the UK.

Beating a fat oaf with tits and a hairy back that couldn't bust a grape makes him the a side now.

Exactly. Its only appropriate for someone in his position to exaggerate. In reality, he might be the "A-" side. He'd be very close on resume to AJ at that point, arguable either way. And if the PPV comes in at the higher end, he could get within striking distance of money with AJ. If he KO's Fury in a credible way and the US PPV is good, then he can credibly ask for over 50% as a starting position and then either take 45/55 to fight in the US at a discount for home field advantage or 50/50 to fight in the UK for AJ to keep home field.

This A side crap annoys me. Did Mayweather start this BS? Just make the damn fight.

It's always the leeches and surrounding lampreys who only care about getting as high of a cut of the purse as they can that hold up fights. The managment of both fighters suck. They'll greed themselves and their clients out of a mega payday that's only possible with undefeated heavyweights. Keep talking about the next guy AFTER your current opponent, it's a good way to get ktfo by a hungry spoiler fighter with nothing to lose.

    Idiots, the lot of them.

Povetkin is smiling behind the scenes, sparring against a murderer's row, and planning to spoil that party once and for all.

Difference between AJs fans and Wilders fan is that Ajs actually buy his fights or go to them...

Wilder needs his fans to tune in.

If he fights Fury and the numbers are good in US then that levels the playing field

No. He wont be. Joshua will still have three of the four big belts and Joshua will still be a more proven PPV attraction - provided, of course, that he beats Povetkin. That's why he'll stay "the A Side" no matter what happens in Wilder/Fury.
