The biggest surprise of all would be a Kell Brook actual fight announced

Yeah you could see it on socks media. People always asking how much a fight was even thought it's free haha. ITV messed up

Sorry didn’t see this. Just Kalle promised a big UK double header to be announced when he was asked about Taylor. So it had to be Burnett or Flanagan. I think Burnett can sell well in Ireland so assumed it would be Flanagan.

Never understood ITV's marketing behind the WBSS. They could've had Eubank's first fight on ITV1, raked 4-5million viewers then decide to go down the PPV route with the wider public already having prior knowledge to his fan friendly style.

Alternatively you could've promoted the hell out of the whole series, gave it airtime on all channels and looked to regain cost through advertising on the big fights. Groves- Eubank sheet has the potential for 7million plus viewers, prime time.

Instead we are left with clips of highlights on itv3 and the 395th re run of Jurassic park- the lost word on itv2.

I can’t see Khan - Brook happening before March time if at all. There’s already too much PPV boxing going on already leading upto xmas - I can’t see how it works. I also don’t get the impression Brook is getting on that well with Hearn at the moment- I could be wrong, but the injury pull out for the Whyte card was clearly BS plus his general low profile recently.

Hopefully Usk-Bellew is going ahead - I think Eddie and sky would be keen to take back some of the shine from
    BTs recent movements.

Is there going to be a twist in the Joshua/Fury/Wilder saga?

Hearn reckons he’s emailed Wilder in regards to a response from their offer?

Is Eddie trying to remain relevant? Trying to hide the fact he’s ducking the fight? Trying to **** up FW’s negotiations? OR do AJ and Wilder really want it?

Sales haven’t been so great for the POV fight. What about inviting Wilder over to get in the ring, boost the sales, **** up Fury and Frank’s plan and make the biggest fight in boxing in April?

I missed much of the Cruiserweight tournament because it was advertised as showing on Box Office and I couldn't justify the expenditure I believed it would

With regards to the quality of the shows, I thought they were hit and miss and having Ronald Mackintosh is never a good idea in my opinion.

I think you've summed it up.

Hearn has admitted they're fighting Whyte next, so why keep up the pretense they want Wilder still?

Seen Bellew amd Uysk might fall through. As for ITV and the WBSS, they should have put all the fights on freeview this year, would have done great numbers. Then had a couple of PPVs in the second series as the popularity and brand of WBSS would have been mucher higher after series 1 if they had done that.

Woud rather watch Usyk v Lebedev anyway - we all know Bellew will turn his back in the ring at the first sign of trouble and Lebedev on the contrary will give his all.

Hearn will offer Lebedev a few bob to step aside for his best mate Bellew.

Looks like it will be a Burnett Taylor double header then. Manchester, Belfast or Glasgow?
