amazing how some people dont need to be beat over the head with the truth before they start to get it, huh?
That's what I'm expecting this time too. I expected a GGG win last time and a close Canelo win this time, for the reasons you outlined above. Great fighter in his prime beats great fighter past his prime. All the time between the two fights should significantly alter the results. The only way it goes to GGG and he manages to beat Canelo + father time is a combination of being the superior p4p fighter and size advantage. Or maybe, a freak occurrence like Canelo shows up lame. Everyone feel free to bump this thread and make me look foolish when GGG Ko's Canelo in 1 and makes it look easy.
Anyone without an agenda can see that Golovkin set the trap for that uppercut as he noticed Vanes ducking after the jab so he never showed him one uppercut until the one that Vanes ducked into.......marvellous stuff to work opponents out like that. Golovkin has to get that uppercut going as it could be the only punch that could drop Canelo.
I don’t expect anything other than a GGG win as he can’t be any worse than the Golovkin that already should have a win against Canelo and I expect he’ll of learnt something about Canelo. There’s a lot of questions to be answered about Canelo since his drugs ban, will he have the same punch resistance and power?
What most people don't understand is that without his drugs Canelo is actually a four foot tall Jewish man from Queens.
The 2015 video was published to YouTube on May 13 and he boxed Willie Monroe on May 16... so it's safe to assume that work-out was from fight week. The video from this year was uploaded on August 27, nearly two weeks prior to fight night. There is clearly a difference in sharpness but it appears from different stages of fight camps....
