I think it's funny how Amir has tried to relaunch his career because he beat up a pizza maker.

 

Not to take away from Clenelo's work, but Khan is not hard to figure out man. He's only got a fast 1-2 combo that he shoots off over and over. Under any sort of pressure Khan breaks down and resorts to firefighting and forgets to get on his bike. And everything you stated is right on the money. Khan has crap defense, crap movement, limited arsenal, and the worse chin is recent history. It's not like Khan ever had a chance against Clenelo or any of the bigger guys.

 

Khan may be fast but being fast is not the same thing as having skills. Spence is fundamentally better than Khan in all departments and is the more skilled better technical fighter.

 

What is it about Khan with his fast sloppy combos that people think he’s somehow “schooling” or “dominating”? He wins a grand total of 2 rounds against Garcia before being timed with a left hook, which Garcia often does, and people go “oh Khan just got too brave, he was winning big!”

Khan has a nice couple of rounds against Canelo, then canelo times him and gets the range, hits him with several right hand body shots, which sets up the overhand right to end the fight. “Ooh Khan was schooling Canelo before he got caught”

People mistaking speed and sloppy flurries for skills is somewhat of a pet peeve of mine. It’s not hard to see that Khan is not a technically sound boxer for a world class fighter. My co-worker is a complete casual to the sport and after watching Khan fight once, he told me “Khan is fast but looks really sloppy and all over the place”

 

khan has no chance, none.... never did.

 

I can respect that. But khans past his best and spence is proven.. he is a wrecking ball and will catch khan. First few rounds will be fun and interesting

 

What would Golovkin have done to Khan's chin?

 

Khan will stick and move for the first few rounds, then he'll realize Spence can't hurt him. In fact noone can, the guy's never even been properly knocked down, let alone out. Just has bad nerves, similar to a young Jack Dempsey. Once that happens Khan will utilize his beautiful head movement and footwork to cut the ring off. He'll quickly walk down Spence, taking the full force of his offence while slipping most of Errol's shots. I predict a shocking knockout in the 8th, a crisp quicksilver 1-2 followed up with a brutal left hook that would make Joe Frazier leave the room quietly. A 5 minute public nap session that Spence's career may or may not recover from. 2018 will be the year of the Rightful King of Manchester, mark my words.
